2. Bundesliga 2024/2025

So you'd spare a bus conductor from critizism, if he drove the bus against a bridge pier because they're young and met the timetable before? -

Well in Zornigers defense: No employer has any moral scruples to critizise their employee that way in any other industry. Why should footballers be priviliged in that regard as well? -
2. Bundesliga 2024/2025

Braunschweig are early candidates for a manager sacking after losing 1-5 at Schalke and 1-3 at home against Magdeburg they're now 0-4 down at Köln. Additionally they've lost 1-4 to Frankfurt in thre cup. That's 16 goals conceded in just 4 matches. And it's not even like they had 1 off match, since they never lost 0-10 or something. -
Fantasy Bundesliga 2024/2025

According to many sources most people ditched their desktops and use only their mobiles and tablets for the web. Guess they wanted to harmonise the game with that stats. Apparently I'm not the only dinosaur around here. -
Ilkay Gundogan - Could Return to 133 Charges FC
Rucksackfranzose replied to Happy Blue's topic in Transfer Rumours Forum
You're aware every player says that when they are joining a big club? No reason to post it for bragging, really. Only fans clubs, that were insignificant for a long time, feel the need of telling it others, when a player, who was newly bought, praises their new team. The fans of more historically important clubs are used to it and take it for what it is- a player not admitting money talked. -
Manuel Neuer retires from international football
Rucksackfranzose replied to Tommy's topic in International Competitions
Not old enough to have seen Turek or Stuhlfauth myself. Maier is a special case, since I still was a child when I watched him, and since he was graced to play in what was argueably the best team Germany ever had. Kahn you may remember yourself, I suppose. As for Schumacher and Stein: Those two were most likely the 2 very best keepers of the 80's. It's a bit of an irony that none of them was undisputed as our first choice national keeper, since both of them would have been easily the keeper number 1 in every other country. Only issue was that one keeper, who was on the same standard as themselfes had the same nationality.. Although it's completely his own fault and down to him exclusively, it's a bit sad the first thing people associate with Schumacher is that WC 82 foul on Battiston instead of how world class a goali he was. -

Lot of competition in this spot: Kahn, Maier, Stuhlfauth, Schumacher, Stein, Turek are only 6 possible other candidates that pop up immidiately. -
Ilkay Gundogan - Could Return to 133 Charges FC

Laughable, that's Saarbrücken! No really sensible person would cast doubt on that. -

Genuine question: Where's that from? Asking, because German media are adamant there've been no negotiations, so far. Also according to what I read about this it's more a case of wanting to leave Barcelona than of of wanting to join City. Your claims of him regreting leaving City are a very biased look at the facts, to put it mildly. -
@Tommy, @Michael, @Bluewolf, @Viva la FCB, @nawoo, @nudge, @londonerlilie, @Devil-Dick Willie, @Faithcore Buli starts coming Friday. Please, get your predictions in on time, if you want to partake. Disclaimer: I've been tagging the members that played last season and some forum people having a look and post on the Buli section from time to time, that are logging in frequently enough to be likely to see the tag before it's too late. As always everybody else is very welcome, the more the merrier!

It's awkard , if an English is calling a German, born and raised in Germany, going to England coming home. -
DFB - Pokal 24/25
Rucksackfranzose replied to Rucksackfranzose's topic in German Football Forum - Bundesliga
Three cup matches at the moment all more or less abot 15 minutes into 2nd half. And the standings? Well,Buli clubs Mainz and Hoffenheim are on 1-1 at 3tier club Wehen, 4th tier club Würzburg respectively, and Buli club St Pauli are 1-2 down at 4th tier club Halle. Upsets don't appear impossible in neither of these matches. Love the cup. -
German Football - General Talk

Isn't even a squad member of Bayern's 4th tier second team and only played a few minutes in 1 of their 4 matches this season. So he's apparently planned to play in their U 19 youth team. -
Champions League 2024/25 - Qualifying & Play-off Stage
Rucksackfranzose replied to Stan's topic in UEFA Competitions
Lille qualified for the play-offs by eliminating Mourinho's Fenerbahce. Also remarkable the score between Ludogorez and Quarabag after 9o minutes was 2-3, since that meant a score of 4-4 on aggregates that match went into extra time. After these 30 minutes were played the score was Ludogorez 2-7 Quarabag. Scoring 4 goals in 30 minutes is remarkable, even if it was only against the Bulgarian champions. -
Youssoufa Moukoko Leaving Borussia Dortmund for Marseille

Apparently not, since German media are reporting the clubs couldn't agree about the transfer.
