Of course I'm aware that the two of them are the clubs with the biggest following. Yet, ARD and ZDF are financed by public money with the explicite order to reflect diversity of opinion and society. That why broadcasting fees are collected,wit explicite mention of minority opinions and intersts for crying out loud! How about not running for ratings , if you're financed by a fee also collected from people, who aren't fans of the two biggest clubs, for a change? The cup's attractive because of possible upsets everybody is longing for- they should have shown two out of the matches at Offenbach, Dresden, and Bielefeld respectively. That is without even mentioning that those three clubs could do with a bit of recognition gor eliminating clubs from leagues higher in the pyramide in the first round! If it has to be matches between their precious Buli teams that they show Frankfurt Gladbach would've been a good alternative between clubs, that both have over 100k members! Well, at least, Bayern and Dortmund play away at Buli clubs and don't have home matches against 2.Liga clubs, saying that because the TV stations had shown the latter, as well, despite the almost inexistant potential for an upset these matches would have had. Rant over!

With the important difference @CaaC (John) was the only one predicting Leverkusen would lose, while you and @Tommy predicted Leverkusen would win by 1 goal like most others did that matchday. So while the former out played all of us brilliantly, the two of you just were lucky, not many others had anticipated Leverkusen would concede 2 goals in Gladbach. In other words John showed to be an expert, while both the latter just rode their luck.

Almost everybody predicted Leverkusen would win, although you both were the two only players to predict the exact resul that doesn't qualify for a shout usually. Check former editions: There are only three kinds of prediction of the matchday I do award. First for correctly predicting an out standing result, like eg 6-1, second for predicting a perfect score while all others predicted a completely different outcome of the match , and finally for being the only player predicting a perfect score on that matchday. You met none of these criteria, sorry!

Considering only 4 perfect scores have been predicted in total and nobody predicted more than 1 perfect score most scores are respectable. One of the most formative German managers of the 80's and 90's. Won a German, as well as an Austrian and 3 Turkish titles. In Turkey he's been well respected, while his reputation in Germany was unfortunately a bit tarnished.
