None. I'd rather companies spent time on sequels or new IP. If a game really needs a "remaster" it should also come with the fact that you have to have it at 50% of the current market cost because honestly that's just a lazy business move. The only exception is if you completely rewrite the game from the ground up and introduce modern mechanics into it to bring the story to a younger audience that wasn't around the first time it came out. That really makes it a "remake" vs a remaster imo.

Money has a funny way of making things we think are impossible, possible but I hope they've put a lid on it completely. I think TLoU will last another two games personally but honestly their content is dry at this point and I'd like them to do something different like FromSW does when it takes breaks from doing soul-like games. Having said all that you're probably right in that they'll do something very similar to Uncharted with a new spin. I don't really consider TLoU as Survival Horror its more adventure and a lot of drama/story.

Naughty Dog needs news IP. Their old ones are getting rather boring at this point.

The biggest disappointment in this thread is that Ryan Gosling isn't going to play POTUS. I'd totally line up to watch him sing about his sorrows and then get an award for best Box Office Achievement.

Between 9 and 10 really. Nokia's glory years.

@Stan @Dr. Gonzo @Spike @nudge @Tommy @Bluewolf Psst. Friendly reminder, I'd like to close this by Saturday if possible.

IMO the best female pundit/commentator about football going-ons I have ever heard is Melissa Reddy. I'd rather have her report on things than a lot of her male counterparts.
-
So sorry to hear that. Condolences to you and your family during this tough time.

Clearly. My whole year revolved around a few titles on Steam - DOTA2, BG3, Mini Motorways (I am addicted and not ashamed to say it) and Wingspan to play with friends haha. My PS5 year on the other hand is just filled with all kinds of good things haha. My Switch probably takes the cake for most used this year.
-
Odd but I spent most of the year on my PS5 and Switch with the only exception being Baldurs Gate which I played on PC. What's even more odd is that all the games I theoretically could have played on my PC I ended up playing on my PS5.
-
Somewhere between 6 and 7. My uncle had a 3 and I thought it was cool like he was spy who had secret missions haha.
-
I can see more dev shops/AAA titles going down this route. I don't think it works out for them financially in the long run especially during year one of the release.

And they say banishing people isn't wholesome.
-
I think that might be the wrong date. I heard its out next year in March.

If you like Mecha-based games and love the idea of having to pilot a machine and combat this might be a good game for you. I have played about 2 hrs so far and I am loving it. Didn't realize FromSoftware and Bandai co-worked this and I'm probably selling it a bit short now but this is a good game imo. Enemies are hard, machine control isn't always the easiest and it does take some getting used to but once you get over those little problems there's a very complex game under the hood and if you're playing it on PC then turn it to max settings and watch it shine because it is also a very pretty game.

Considering the political climate surrounding it all now I think Mossad wouldn't want to start anything with them being in Turkey.

@Stan @CaaC (John) @Dr. Gonzo @DeadLinesman @Spike @nudge @Beelzebub @Tommy @Lucas @Bluewolf Round 5 is underway and I apologize but was on vacation so couldn't do this sooner. As a refresher for newcomers I am reposting the rules here. I tried to avoid Google potential questions but as we move forward it might get a bit harder. Please note, since this is the last round, the questions are arguably harder. The Rules or How does this work? For people who haven't played before the game is very simple, there will be 10 questions asked per round and they may have multiple answers. The goal is to try and answer like the rest of the players. An example is, What is a common accompaniment with eggs for breakfast? And if you and 5 other people answer "beans" then you get 6 points. If your answer doesn't match anyone else's then you get one point. The idea is to gain as many points and get to the top of the list to be the Sheepiest of the lot. If there is ambiguity in the question, as is sometimes the case, I will put specific instructions next to the question as I know some of these can be close in wording and I try my best to group them together. Sheep - Season 11 - Sports - Round 5 - End Game Name a sport where talking is against the rules Name a sport that is generally done in under 10 minutes Name a famous American football player who has also played in Germany Name a country that doesn't play football Name a country who has never won a gold medal Name a country with the most amount of world records in the 100m freestyle event (swimming) Name a sport that also uses red cards for penalties Name a country that has the most gold medals in boxing overall Name a club that has has a video gaming company as its sponsor If the Sheep had to decide who would make the best Sumo Wrestling Coach based on contestants from this season who would it be? (Please feel free to explain why) Notes/Rules For 1st timers, the rules of the game are simple. You want your answers to these questions to match with one other player or more than one other players. E.g. If your answer is "Wookie" and five other people answer the same then you get 6 points for that question. If you do not match with anyone else you're only going to get 1 point. The winner is the person who has the most points after 5 rounds. Please DM me all your answers and don't post them in here. Please feel free to ask questions for clarification purposes and I'll try and answer them as best as I can. Please do not try and discuss answers to questions until the round is over. I will accept spelling mistakes and words that follow a certain theme. If the answers have to be unique I will call them out specifically with the questions There is no such thing as a WRONG ANSWER. Keep in mind that you can type anything you want and if someone else provides the same answer we can all have a laugh while you'll walk away with 2 or more points. You all have till Wednesday(Dec 20th) to get your answers to me. If they all come in sooner I'll have the results out faster as well and we can move to the next round. Good luck.

Was on holiday just came back today. I'll post the new questions today.

It really was. Sometimes its totally okay to go back to basics. All this partnering with out Kaiju is cute but ultimately you want a disaster movie and a big monster doing damage.
-
I don't get it but if they punch each other a lot ill enjoy it.

Weird that all the dust has settled from the OpenAI debacle almost two weeks ago and we still don't know why the board tried to get rid of Altman. Weirdness galore. I would have liked it if they went over the MSFT instead of staying with the current company but they would have lost a really key person in the development process so I suppose its good they stuck where they were.
-
Some good times have been witnessed on here. My personal recent favorite was the time Cannabis tried to organize some scammers to come meet him for drinks at a specific place during the WC in Russia. And the infamous "flamethrower" incident in Mafia Wars.
-
Really good. Best Kaiju movie I have watched in a long time. Glad they took the story back to its roots instead of that skippy movie that's coming out next year. I rate this above Shin Gojira and that is also very good if you haven't watched it and like these kinds of movies.

The old ones are good but dated for their time. Have to say that they had some of the nicest online gaming experience though and it was quite fun.

With MGS you're given the option to go all out or be ultra stealthy. What you choose really depends on how you want to play the game, my personal preference is stealth as it really does challenge you in some particular scenarios. The reason MGS3 ranks so high for me in the list is that you don't even need to kill the bosses and you can use CQC (close quarter combat) and a tranq-gun to take them all out. While this seems easy its far from it because that system requires you to master it throughout the game as you progress and some of the zones leave you scratching your head on how stealth should be used. It's really one of a kind and its closes comparison is probably Splinter Cell and Thief in some ways too. You get rewarded for being sneaky more so than being ultra combative which you can be. And yes you can sneak up and choke, tranq or kill someone in MGS.
