So much activity in this group not going the planned way means the next round of matches are potentially going be even crazier than this set of games. I wouldn't really hinge any knowledge of these teams on anything. I do think Belgium will get upturned by Romania in the same way they undid the Ukraine though and that would be very entertaining to watch.

Kinda expecting this to get to 4 now because at some point the Ukraine are going to have to start pushing a bit harder leaving more open spaces which Romania will happily exploit.

I feel like if Serbia had got one back earlier in the second half then Southgate would have been forced to undo his thinking a little but luckily for him, they didn't. He's going to have to go back to the drawing board and think a bit more on this as the next two matches come up. I can't see England not getting out of this group, but I do feel like they need to be tactically a bit better at ball control when they're up vs allowing the other team to have it and roam as they wish. It might work in this group but against a more adept side they'll get scored on with the kind of pressure Serbia was pushing onto them.

Looking forward to see how Robeto Martinez has this side setup for the tournament.

I think we can all agree that putting the Skywalker saga to bed until they can come up with a good reason to bring back one of those characters into their own arc or do something novel comes by. I can see value in what Lucas was doing with the prequels and it may have not completely worked but there was so much he wanted to tell that there was no way a studio was ever going to allow that to fly for the amount of screentime he was granted. The bigger issue with Star Wars video content in general is how much of it relies on relational arc piecing that you lose if you dont know everything necessary at times and I feel like Marvel made so many of those mistakes too because at the end of the day folks want to be entertained and while you have a fanbase which you shouldn't alienate telling a compelling story to draw in folks who aren't fans sets up a show that can be consumed by anyone.

They still made money off the shows that werent even all that good and they have put out some good shows but its gotten to a point of saturation where they're just making content for the sake of it. This isnt a bad thing if you've got a team that knows who to hire and what projects to give them but that doesnt seem to be the case at Disney anymore.

You and a lot of fans and this isnt related to the aforementioned stuff. The scripts seem so trite and simplistic in nature with a lot of stuff that just isn't helping. I think there were rumbling from the Marvel camp that they wanted to do less but do more quality and maybe Star Wars needs this treatment too. Yeah its a money raker but if you're pumping out shows for anything and everything you're basically throwing money away and quantity isn't necessarily translating to quality. Needs a hard reset imo and then a shift in stance to something a bit more familiar. I would avoid the Skywalker arc altogether and try and bring something else in.

India might actually lose this game if they dont get a move on. Edit: NVM they'll be okay.

I caught up with the two episodes and its a very enjoyable watch. Love that they focus on a lot of actual exchanges between the characters with fight sequencing and the little trophy clause of no weapon usage keeps the fights a bit fresh.

Its gotten rather drab with the gaming scene and if a Doom game was the highlight of a showcase then you didnt miss much honestly.

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga - 6/10 I can't really put my finger on it, but it felt drawn and really not as compelling as the last one. Considering who they cast and the fact that the storyline does lend itself to something very good it just felt like it labored to produce something very uninspiring.

So, the way to keep Real Madrid out of competitions is to set the prize money to 20 million. Message received.

All I remember about him was watching him on TV when I was younger towards the end of his career at Liverpool. Couldn't have gauged much at the time considering I was more into watching goals and midfielders but I do hope he gets well soon. My dad really liked him at the time too.

100bn in funds were used in transactions to terrorist organization fronts like Hezbola,Taliban, usual suspects list and it was dismissed by the US courts but apparently a second review showed even more irregularities in the transactions. No one from the US side or the British owners have come forward with statements but it all looks a bit fishy. That's the short of it but theres a lot more being uncovered and how a whistleblower tried to call this out once but it was dismissed back when the claims were raised. I can't see them being our sponsor for long unless they get cleared of these allegations.
