  1. Fair enough, but I think getting drunk every day would not be a good idea long-term
  2. Because a) I dislike being drunk; and b) it seems a terrible waste of good Scotch (especially single malt) to get smashed to the point where you're just consuming alcohol without appreciating the flavour. I prefer just having a good dram or two outside late at night after work - smells good, tastes good, and is very relaxing...
  3. Technically yes, although Amazon actively blocks VPN connections so your mileage may vary...
  4. Because both Bayern and Amazon are wankers?
  5. Just bought this...for less than 3€ 47 novels with hundreds of original illustrations. What a nostalgia trip
  6. Its available for me, so probably geo-restrictions?
  7. I could bathe in pickled herring I fucking love it.
  8. Yes for the name, not exactly for the rest, but close enough Corned beef sauteed with some onion, mixed with cooked and roughly crushed potatoes, some chopped beetroot, and some pickle juice for the texture. Food of the sailors!
  9. Sigh. Pickled gherkins and rollmops, yes. Those are obvious All together it's an actual dish with an actual name though And you still haven't guessed the main part under the eggs
  10. So... Who will be brave and hazard a guess what's for dinner tonight?...
  11. Whisky is there to enjoy and savour, not to get drunk! Peasants
  12. Never been in such a state and don't intend to
  13. Fun fact: a friend and I once sneaked beer into her class and drank it while hiding behind the bookcases during the lesson proper idiots.
  14. She, not he. And I honestly don't know she was one of the coolest, chill and non-conventional teachers with all kinds of crazy ideas in school, so that probably had something to do with that
  15. Just skimming through reviews, it seems you were not the only one to get food poisoning in that hotel And yeah, there's no universal standard for giving "stars" to the hotels, so they can be very misleading. As someone who hates those huge, all-inclusive hotels and resorts, I avoid them like plague
  16. Serves you right for eating at the hotel, tbh Nah, but in all seriousness, that sounds bad. A random food poisoning is one thing, sending 50 guests to a hospital is completely unacceptable. The Egyptian newspaper Al-Ahrm reported that it was a five-star AMC Royal hotel. Is it the one you were staying at???
  17. Yeah, although the little prick deserved it, tbh Think afterwards he threatened to complain to the media and get TV involved, too When the teacher and the school principal suggested to get his parents involved instead, all his courage suddenly disappeared Can't imagine it happening today, the teacher would probably lose her job and get a criminal record or something
  18. One of my teachers once threw an actual brick across the room in the general direction of an annoying student
  19. Misinformation, trolling, pointless arguments, vehement opinions, fear-shaming; safe to say this thread has become a huge success...or a huge fucking embarrassment.
  20. I kinda hoped they'd call it Incite Inc. So many missed opportunities there...
