  1. Yeah I think that’s fair enough from all sides. You had to try and test the waters, but with the club adamant they don’t want to sell unless they receive a silly amount, and even then I’m not convinced Levy would do it, I can see why you’d not pursue beyond what you’re currently offering. For what it’s worth while I don’t want to lose him, I’d be happy for him to go to Bayern over pretty much any other club other than Madrid.
  2. If you’re bayern i think you have to go all out for him this summer. Highly doubt he ends up there when on a free. I’d be surprised by United too. They are not close to challenging for the big titles either, would seem foolish to me. It’s city or madrid.
  3. Why isn’t he reasonable? Why should we sell the player below our value for him? Look at the price that players go for these days. He’s easily worth more than £100 million, even with one year left on his deal. And we don’t want to sell, which is the main thing.
  4. Don’t care. No reason for us to sell for this price. Rather have him for another year and try to convince him to sign a new deal. He means a lot more to this team and club than £70 million
  5. Bayern are such jokers. Best striker in the world and they're lowballing Spurs again. Never going to get this deal done.
  6. I take your point. But only from the club that has also been run in exactly the same way. Not like they’re buying from one of the artificial clubs and also still don’t think Bayern will cough up enough money to tempt Levy to sell
  7. Why not? If you ever been on any form of social media, which I assume you have, then you’ll understand. Look at the way they are with Pickford too.
  8. Because he is. I took exception to you calling him an arsehole because he’s about as far from that as a person. There’s so many unsavoury characters in this league and he just doesn’t come close to that. You never said “on the pitch” either, was just a blanket statement, and he gets enough hate as it is for the way he talks. No idea what post you’re talking about for Salah. More the refusing to shake hands with Jewish players. It’s just so untrue that’s why. He goes through far more scrutiny than any other player in the league. The amount of airtime Sky give him and decisions around him compared to other players is bizarre. That’s when they’re not constantly trying to sell him elsewhere. The media darling guff is just peddled by people with agendas against him. Let’s be honest liverpool fans don’t like him as a blanket statement ever since the 2-2 at anfield. And no one holds a grudge quite like scousers. That’s all very well, but I stand by my original defence of him. That’s just not how I would describe him in the slightest.
  9. ‘Nasty’ hahah. That’s such an overreaction. And gets away with it is ridiculous too. Never known a player have to explain decisions and incidents post game as much as Kane does.
  10. So does your golden boy Saka and Jesus. All the time. Just blinkered to that. People trying to take the moral high ground with stuff like this is weird. The whole league is littered with it, whatever club you support
  11. No more or less than other striker in history. Honestly you see that week in week out in the premier league.
  12. The fact you call it his “signature move” should say everything I need to say about this. As if it’s something Kane invented or that Kane is the only one that does. Backing in like that has been around for as long as football has. It’s such a weird argument to take, but it’s because there is little else to find fault with as I’ve stated in previous posts. He’s basically the ideal pro and it’s only because of who he plays for that people try to find any reason to criticise. Sure he’s not perfect on the pitch, but who is, but I could list hundreds of players that are more ‘arsehole’ than him. Including in our squad and certainly in yours like Mo ‘anti-Semitic’ Salah for a start.
  13. Which is just utter nonsense. Such a strange vendetta to have. He has that drive to win and edge that every single top player in history has had, but he’s about as far from arsehole as possible as modern day footballers go.
  14. He should be. But I won’t hold my breath. He’s one of the greatest players to ever play for this county, the numbers are going to be massive when all is said and done. He will hold so many individual records. He’s been captain of England since he was 24! He’s not appreciated because of who he plays for and in some ways the style of play he has, but he should be the example for every single young kid out there. He’s got to where he is through hard work and application. Failure didn’t cause him to give up but try harder. I think people are always going to find ways to criticise him. Even if he goes and wins trophies elsewhere he will still get people playing down how good he is, but fingers crossed when he is retired people will appreciate him more. I’d just love for him to win something with England. That’s the ultimate
  15. And from a guy who supported a racist up front for his club, that used to bite people, because he was good at football.
  16. That’s genuinely one of the most ludicrous statements, from a usually great poster. He’s so far from it. He’s the ultimate professional, family man, still with his childhood sweetheart, stays out of the media and trouble, gives so much back to charity sponsoring all of Leyton orients kits to do his bit for a club that he had his first loan at and also mental health charities close to his heart. The hate he gets is absolutely baffling.
  17. What’s the next big challenge for Pep? Score a goal at Tottenham Hotspur stadium?
  18. Got off very lightly if you ask me
  19. He’s a system striker at this level, I’m pretty convinced of it. Worth that fee to Brentford but nobody else. They’ve literally built a team around him and his strengths, the direct style wouldn’t work at a bigger team.
  20. Not sure there’s much truth in it but he fits the profile of the sort of guy we’d be looking at. Not sure he’s had enough experience just yet to warrant the job
