The fact you call it his “signature move” should say everything I need to say about this. As if it’s something Kane invented or that Kane is the only one that does. Backing in like that has been around for as long as football has. It’s such a weird argument to take, but it’s because there is little else to find fault with as I’ve stated in previous posts. He’s basically the ideal pro and it’s only because of who he plays for that people try to find any reason to criticise. Sure he’s not perfect on the pitch, but who is, but I could list hundreds of players that are more ‘arsehole’ than him. Including in our squad and certainly in yours like Mo ‘anti-Semitic’ Salah for a start.

Even if he goes and wins trophies elsewhere he will still get people playing down how good he is, but fingers crossed when he is retired people will appreciate him more. That’s genuinely one of the most ludicrous statements, from a usually great poster. He’s so far from it. He’s a system striker at this level, I’m pretty convinced of it. Worth that fee to Brentford but nobody else. They’ve literally built a team around him and his strengths, the direct style wouldn’t work at a bigger team.
