I can understand the latter sure ... but there’s no comparison between the clubs. It’s absolutely a step up in terms of job stature. I also don’t think we are as far away as you think. The right manager and this team is right back up there with a couple of additions. The third point about ownership though... absolutely. I wouldn’t leave Leicester’s owners for ours, not a chance.

But even still there is no denying it’s a step up in terms of stature of club, infrastructure, fanbase, history, expectation, finances (although maybe not after the pandemic) No chance it’s Rafa though, thankfully, would be another joke appointment. Yup. It’s a real problem. We’ve regressed massively. Liverpool may be doing the same. Those three transfer windows where we didn’t refresh the squad at all are really costing us. You can’t afford to stand still in this league and we did. We just need a bit more investment to get us over the top. Levy has a lot to answer for

Yeah it’s something mad like 20-30 mill. Not a chance he’s paying that, especially not when we are losing so much money currently.
