Watched the show over christmas break, quite enjoyed it actually. The pacing was maybe a tad slow but the characters where overall fairly well done. The actor change was a bit jaring at first and I far preferred the younger Rhaernyra actress so maybe that was my main gripe. Overall a bit of a surprise and a good chunk better then the last few seasons of GOT.

Ill have the rewatch the first one before I see it again, need to get back into that mood!

This is BILD's list of our current roster status going into the summer. Pretty much agree with most of it. There are some inklings of Tuchel having influence in trying to negotiate a better price on Cancelo as well as wanting to keep Gravenberch as management is still quite high on him. Pavard I do hope gets extended at this point but we'll see how he feels as well. Maz's future seems somewhat tied to what happens with Pavard and Cancelo specifically but maybe also throw Stanisic in that mix as well.

Would hardly be surprising with Uli tbh.

Yep. Far too many players have been unwhelming for large portions of the season. We lacked the consistency of Lewy and Müller up front which was a given for the better part of what 7 or 8 years? When your'e relying on contributions from the likes of Coman, Sane, Gnabry and a barely 20 year old Musiala things are quite different. Choups was great but even he wasn't healthy when we needed him most and even then hes not the solution long term. Mane has been a disaster full stop. Goretzka has been bad and Kimmich has been exposed more this season probably directly because of that. Upa's had a nightmare lately but otherwise I'd say the one saving grace is our defence was fairly solid up until recently. Going to be an interesting off season between personnel and management turnover.

The latest rumour has Uli wanting to install his son Florian in some capacity, maybe he returns as well to shepherd him along. Hainer's publically denied a Kahn exit at this stage but that doesnt mean a whole lot, he carried on the line about evaluating all of the execs at the end of the season. The guy that broke this has been pretty spot on on a few things to break early this season. Both Plettenberg and Falk joined in afterwords. Smoke theres fire etc etc...

Lots of rumuors swirling about a possible departure of Kahn, Brazzo the latest name thrown in there too... possible return of Uli etc etc. Grab your popcorn there could be some bodies to fall soon.

Also I hope this is true. He profiles excellently but he just hasnt been given a chance so I still dont really have an idea in what we have in him. The weirder part is Goretzka hasn't played that well overall and Tuchel even mentioned recently he see's Gravenberch as an 8.... GIVE HIM A START.

The hotdog fingers is just a giant wtf from me The rock universe was ridiculous but also kinda funny.. Im glad movies like this are being made I guess is my main takeaway and the success it received should only help to keep them around.

Everything Everywhere All at Once - 7.5/10 Batshit crazy. Absolutely something worth watching, a completely unique way of taking on a pretty interesting topic. These guys got some good drugs.

Plettenberg had this gem over the weekend, hes been dreadful and given the latest outburst and suspension not entirely surprising.

Theres been alot talks of Kone being sold too. Quite the turn over.

On an unrelated note Bild is saying its done finally, would imagine they will wait for a better time for an offical announcement anyways if it is.

Hes apparently going to be left out of the squad against Hoffenheim and pay a fine. Yeah im surprised at how bad hes been, I thought at the time he had to be a sure thing especially the season he was coming off of. Hopefully he can get his shit together. Now theres this...

Yeah I hear you. Thats the one I bought in the end too. You can buy micro sd cards that work fairly well and you can hot swap them so theres no real issue with storage. On the steamdeck subreddit there's plenty of people that had guides on upgrading the ssd's as well on the 64GB version. It comes out a decent chunk cheaper just upgrading the hd if you like to tinker at all.

So I preordered one when they first launched and got it about mid last year. I primarily play at home and do have a decent desktop which im probably upgrading soon to. Would I go back and buy one? probably not but for my needs I dont really need a mobile gaming device. Is it awesome? Absolutely. The most I used it was around Christmas time when I spent a week at my moms. The fact that I could essentially port most of my steam library to a portable device was the selling feature for me. Everyday they are seemingly adding more games that are steamdeck verified. The current sale prices seem good and if its something you'll use I wouldnt wait for another sale Id be surprised if you'll see much more of a discount until a second version inevitably comes out in the future. Theres two cautions Ill give you, One; the battery life on any of the triple A games is kind of mediocre - you can tweak settings to get more but for something like God of War, The Witcher 3 or Red Dead ive played all on the deck and the average life is about an hour and a half ish give or take a tad. So the number one accessory to add is a good battery pack. Another small caveat on that one it has to be a 65W charger to charge the deck while playing with it at the same time. Two; Third party launchers are a pain in the ass to use on the go in offline mode. Theres hoops you have to jump through essentially. For example rockstars loader for Red Dead or Bethesda's for Doom Eternal (theres many more) all require an internet connection. Theres a couple work arounds for this problem. Either you launch the games at home while you have internet and then its safe to sleep it and pick it up later. Or secondly I hotspot my phone briefly and then turn it to offline mode afterwards.

John Wick 4 - 10/10 - I will watch everything they ever make involving this character or world. I cant wait for the spinoff's to hit the screen. The world building is something else. As for the movie itself they keep finding ways to make the action over the top and interesting. The locations and cinematography is top notch and they keep outdoing themselves in every installment on that front. The new characters introduced and bad guys where all awesome, I love me some Donnie Yen. Cant say too much about the story without spoilers but I will note a little more detail below for those that have seen it. Ballerina is set to come out in the near future as a movie and The Continental as a series, supposedly Keanu is listed in Ballerina as a credit and timeline it takes place between the second and third installment if memory serves. I guess seeing how those go might pave the direction they take the franchise forward.

Bit of context Musiala appeared to snub Streich in the cup loss earlier in the week.. understandably he was upset giving away the pivotal penalty in the dieing minutes but he stepped up and apologized and the two shared a genuine embrace at the end of the match on the weekend. Apparently the kit is for Streich's kid.. he doesnt really collect them himself he said

Played some of the Diablo 4 beta during the open weekend. Seems fun, classic Diablo stuff but updated - ill definitely buy it at some point but gonna wait a while for a sale probably. Also got me back into playing some Diablo 2 Ressurected! been alot of fun playing here and there. Nostalgic as that was probably the game I played the most growing up. Lots of little quality of life upgrads and they did a masterful job redoing the cut scenes and updating graphics. Will keep plugging away on it here and there.
