Amazingly Bakayoko is to sign a new contract and then sign a 2 year loan to AC Milan. At the end of that spell, in June 2023, Milan will be obliged to purchase Bakayoko, as long as he meets certain playing-related conditions specified by the two clubs in their agreement. As of the time of writing this there is no word what the conditions are, but I would suggest he is unlikely to meet those if its true there is an 20m Euro fee attached in 2 years. No word how much they are paying for the initial 2 year loan. He has been a bit of a cash cow loan fee specialist since falling out of favor. Will anyone take Danny Drinkwater?

Marina worth her weight in Gold. You seen the current Gold price? Chelsea's £107m player sales this window: Abraham - £34m (in installments) Tomori - £25m Guehi - £18m Zappacosta £10 Livramento - £5m Moses - £4m Ugbo - £4m Bate - £1.5m Peart-Harris - £1.5m Ekwah - £1.5m* Simeu - £1.5m* Giroud - £900k Kenedy - 500k loan fee *depending on first-team achievements Plus numourous loan fees to be added once made public. I think she has done an amazing job with other players still looking for a new home or a place the run around at for a year.

Arsenal Away Wonderful weekend back in London for me with a nice performance resulting in 3 points and a small fortune in cash from bets with my Arsenal buddies. First things first, I believe that's the weakest Arsenal team I have seen since Roman came to our club. I use Roman as the timescale as I believe he\us have contributed more than anything to the down turn in Football standing of the former Highbury club. I accept they have some other problems at the moment, but we have removed them from being the go to London club for the better footballers of the world. For us, our latest arrival sure looked at home against Arsenal back four, bullying with ease n holding up the ball and passing back to a Blue shirt. He is super important to us ( His response to our singing to him at a corner in the 2nd half, he made plain his desire to let us know he is one of us, bashing and kissing the badge more than any new signing I can remember lol) and I feel sure there will be more games ahead where we feel more confident watching on as we add a second goal to our game tally through his goals and chances that fall off him. So often over the past seasons we have suffered watching us holding just a goal lead. Two wins to open up the season against what must be said are very weak opposition. More difficult fixtures are sure to come, but we should feel positive with our progression and take heart in how the players are performing. They have an air of confidence about them we have seen is years gone by that left us with a huge smile on our faces come the dishing out of goodies come the end of the season.

Thx 4 that.

Don't forget our Canadian Billionaire. Your own Canadian money is probably filtering into the club helping subsidize the Mob cash. Thanks for that ~ Loadsa & loadsa Money

Wonderful to get back inside Stamford Bridge after far too long away. I imagine the players found the atmosphere far better judging by the tempo compared to most of the behind closed doors fixtures of last season. There was more of an urgency for longer periods of the game that made it feel like we were far better than we actually were. Baring in mind how poor Palace were, it didn't take much to score 3. The truth of the matter is a team far more well oiled would have found the net more often than we did. As ever, a win is a win, best to accept the points and hope for better. Better should come with the introduction of Lukaku. As I have said, I like the signing as I feel he will benefit all around him as well as get his fair share of goals. We continue to handicap ourselves by starting with the passenger and I hope the medical department find the answer to keeping Kante available far more often than the last two seasons appearances. Werner and Pulicic could well be battling out for just the one position from now on and while Werner does not score anywhere enough I believe there is far more to his game which should give him the nod. In saying that I have a sneaky suspicion Havertz will play much closer to Lukaku than most would expect. Whatever Thomas chooses, there are enough bodies to make competition tough for all. Where the fuck has young Trevoh come from. The problem when young players are sent out on loan soon after turning 18 is I don't get to see there development on ChelseaTV. Known pretty much as Nathaniel's (Top player in academy at his age group) brother he was shipped off to Ipswich who tried to sign him full time (bit like Forest with John) Loan stints at Huddersfield n Orient followed. Now inserted into the starting 11 maybe he will save us a small fortune. Good luck to the feller. I think it should be pointed out that With Tammy leaving for 34 million some are now claiming we will have raised the Lukaku fee from sales in this current window. If true our Marina has again proved herself as the first lady of Football.

Good post @carefreeluke Fabregas would be perfect for this squad. Got our CF in the end & he states, like all of us, he has the club in his heart. I like the signing & feel sure his presence will benefit all around him as they did when Drogba & Costa lead our line. Shame I wont get to see him at the weekend.

On the face of it, a win is a win & when they hand you silverware after the game we should be happy. However the performance, pretty much the second half onwards, there was no indication the team has progressed as an attacking unit from last seasons Champions of Europe effort. So the word is Thomas new toy is about to sign from Inter which we hope will finish off some of the numerous chances we waste most games. We are linked to one or two defenders as our second big money signing, but for me the bigger need is a central midfielder who can pass the ball forward with penetration. As much as Kante Jorginho & Kovacic retain the ball, none of them could buy a penetrating forward pass in tight games with a month of their wages. It seems a couple of the media who only follow Chelsea for their outlets remarked the two teams looked very different as far as fitness. That would be a poor excuse for the club if we indeed went in to this game undercooked, however it would explain the drop off in the second half. I guess we better hope Palace are not razor sharp at the weekend. Silva & Jorginho’s Hair? ~ WTF!

Plenty of evidence on show last night to give weight to your opinion.

Well he has had to get rid of his agent and have a couple of stay overs at 2nd n 3rd choice destinations, but it looks like Romelu will get to keep his word & rejoin us. Those who follow the Italian league tell me he has become the complete CF. If he turns up and grabs the Nine shirt It would be a good sign, as he being a Chelsea fan will know all about its problems.

With so much money to spend again and a small Army to sell off, the rumours are filling up the Chelsea airwaves with new breaking news each day. One wonders how many will be taken in by the bullshit and i'm amazed Giroud contract extention as kept quite for so long. Whatever happens it's nice to have the buzz of being Euro champs again.

Happy to read you picked up on City being probably the worst offender at tactical or professional fouls. This I do not believe was such a thing. To be fair, City's so called God, Kompany, made his career from his off the ball taking out of opponants, so again, it should be no surprize to De Bruyne as he has seen Kompany dish it out to Hazard 3 times a game. I accept there are those who will want others to believe it was Rudiger trying to put De Bruyne out of the game. For me nobody who's opinion I value has cried the bitch with this calling for a Red. The Ref, who was excellent throughout the game handled it correctly. Hey, De Bruyne should have asked to borrow Toni's mask!
-
With the greatest respect, De Bruyne needs to learn to protect himself. That challenge happens time n time again in all levels of Football and its laughable how some are latching onto Toni as a thug. Very noticable old pro's are laughing at the Belguim manager & other weak minded fools who feel it should have been a Red.

Who would have thought at the turn of the year 20-21 we would be reading the headline "Blues dominate Champions League Squad of the Season" by the end of the fixtures? 7 players named ~ Not one forward

Yes I am referring to Conte. I rate him highly, but so does he & with it comes the clashes with the suits players ect. Problem is, I believe in the short term he could sort out any sleeping giant for another to benefit soon after. Hence, one is curious how clever your mob will be this summer. Interesting you state Conte maybe too defensive for United. Baring in mind you sat back all season n hit on the break, you were hardly the cutting edge of powerful attacking football of the days of the Whiskey tester. I agree you are still a number of quality players away from troubling a silver engraver. One would not like to suggest too many, but I did say Grealish was a United type player a few years ago when cheap and I am still not sold on ANY of your defenders going back to Jose days. I hope you now agree I was right about Pogba and there is little doubt that bloke in midfield you got from Portugal was probably the leagues top signing of the season. Anyway, fingers crossed Ole stays! -

One would have thought Conte will have a number of better offers before he has to consider Spurs. Conte is the one I would not like to see at any other English club. For me he is currently the best manager in world football.

Sorry mate for length of time in responding. I have been away for a few days. Ole's position. Some of us worked him out pretty much soon after his winning start at utd and hope he continues to do a wonderful job. However after his failier to win last weeks Europa which was pretty much a penalty kick, one is curious if change is in the air for utd? There is one guy I would not like to see there & alas he is currently available. One should be confident the people who run your club will continue to make the wrong decision, but curious to what you think? -

@Redcanuck What happens now with your hot seat after last night? -
The best manager in world football became available over the last couple of days when Antonio Conte left Inter Milan. While he won't be returning to us, where he does land is unbelievably important. He has major faults in his character, but has proven he can win with less, rare in today's club football. Fingers crossed we don't hear his fav word "Work" at any other English club.

Who knows mate? Wonderful player who carried almost all of our managers on his back while he wore our shirt & I for one would welcome him back, subject to the very best terms in our favour. Eden would return every summer fat. Both club & fans expected it after his first couple of years, we didn’t know it at the time but the years he went away with Belgium come the end of the season benefitted us cause he had less time for his extra Shrimp salads. (A meal my Son n I would use as Edens over eating fav in jest) Now some will have you believe he has a number of new injuries & will never be the same again. I say, maybe he needs to bring his family back into his London home he still owns & be surrounded by team mates n fans who have unconditional love for him. People in the know at my board have been saying he’s wanted to come home for most of this season n his behaviour at Stamford Bridge the other night sure didn’t paint any other picture. He left on wonderful terms with the club & 80% of the player we sold returning would still be better than 95% of current EPL players ~ Over to Marina to work her magic He is only 30

Madrid open to offers for Eden. Hmmm... 3 year loan & we pay half his wages Sounds like a Marina deal?

Two full seasons on we are still paying through the nose for the appointment of the worst Chelsea manager during EPL times. Yes I am a broken record. The guy Sarri insisted on, yet again poured more fuel on my assessment of him just a few weeks into his Chelsea career. I have been calling him out AND stated he and Kovacic should never ever start a game together. Today was the perfect example of my warning with us having to cheer Tottenham to help us fall over the line for next seasons CL. There is so much more to say on how poor a performance today was, but with the amount of alcohol flowing through my veins to help one get through the game its probably wise to excuse anyone the poison words I would need to spit out to do justice to how bad they all were. Credit to Chilwell, he didnt try n flower their performance and once he disappeared more Alcohol was the answer to the evening. Absolutely crap.

There is no doubt our lack of clinical finishing make our first team a hard watch when we dominate teams but fail to kill them off early and then gift them an opportunity to get back into the game, when in truth they truly did not deserve. Would we have accepted needing a win from our final game at Villa for CL football at the start of the season. I guess we probably would have baring in mind Frank pretty much did the same last season. A better question is when Tuchel came in did we feel we would have qualification in our own hands come the Villa game? I would say those who were hurt most by the change of manager were convinced we wouldnt be, so those of us who agreed with the decision to end Franks time are relived his replacement still has this chance to complete what he was asked to do. I do enjoy how Tuchel handles the garbage (All) media.
