    Phone call from parents late last night that my 95yr-old gran had a fall and broke her hip :|. Times like this feel so helpless but also think she's in the right hands at hospital.

    Hope she has a quick recovery, mate.

    @ASF

    That looks class. Spanish films/series are the only ones I watch lately, better than anything coming out from anywhere at the moment for me.

    The fella who is in Elite and Casa de Papel(as Rio) is in it as one of the protagonists. He seems to be making a name for himself in recent years.

    This was supposed to be in the film trailers bit, if you could move it please @Stanly

    It looks good.

    I like Luis Tosar. He was awesome in Celda 211.

    @Bluewolf Sharknado is glorious mate.

    I mean, if you like really 'good bad' flicks, then Sharknado is up there with the best.

    Though people need to give The Shallows a watch, if you want to see a decent Shark movie.

    @topic

    Watched Raid Redemption and Raid 2 and my my what a couple of highly enjoyable action movies these two are. Up there with pure kick ass fighting movies like the John Wick series and The Man from Nowhere.

    Glad you enjoyed the Raid movies.

    I liked both of them, but kudos for the second one to have a built-up story that doesn't get boring.

    Rama is just awesome.

  4. 'Pokémon Detective Pikachu'

    Memory lane factor raises the rating, but apart from that, average movie.

    5/10

    'Once Upon a Time....in Hollywood'

    DiCaprio and Pitt make the movie better than what it would be, without them.

    6/10

    Yeah definitely. I will have to learn a little bit of Portuguese. If I do, then it'd be easier learning it from Spanish to Portuguese rather than English to Portuguese.

    Do you live in Lisbon itself? @Machado and @ASF you live closer to Lisbon than Porto, don't you?

    I live 55 Km away from Lisbon, but I work in Lisbon, so it won't be a problem to organize a meeting.

    I do have family in Porto, though.

    Anyone remember that voodoo guy from Nigeria xD

    Innocentboy. Definitely someone that escaped from an asylum.

    Mo, the sex pest.

    Mo was a decent lad. You could have a good conversation about football with him. Went over the board with Vicky, though.

    Tom wasn’t it? Thomas. Turned to god and married a babe.

    The definition of a redneck.

    I miss TheManInBlack.

    Nah, just kidding.

    I'm still howling at the meltdown he had, when he was appointed staff and some members questioned that decision.

    Next trip for me is going to be Lisbon @Machado @ASF then onto Andalucía and might aswell end it off in Catalunya since it'd be rude not to.

    Could be a long while off of course but if a miracle happened, I'd do it in October or sometime. In fact I'd literally be going away right now as that was the plan originally.

    Tell me when you're here. We'll have a beer.

    I actually glory hunted them much earlier. But those dark days are over.

    I tried to access the old forum through that archive website, to see if I can find anything on Dessy, but without any luck.

    WTF? You don't support Dortmund anymore?

    Moneyballs an excellent movie. First time i took Jonah Hill seriously, not that i dont love me some Super Bad but I could appreciate his acting for once.

    Before the Mummy remake I cant really recall a shite movie Tom Cruise has been in, usually at the very least half decent watches.

    Definitely.

    He has made some absolute classics, like Rain Man, A Few Good Men, Jerry Maguire or Eyes Wide Shut.

    Then you have some less talked movies, like Collateral, Valkyrie or Edge of Tomorrow, that are excellent as well.

    The only negative known fact about him is that he belongs to that absolute bullshit called Scientology.

    Agree fully with both above posts. Brad Pitt has been the hollywood hearthrob/cool guy for so long that people underestimate his skills.

    Another actor that gets under the radar of the media is Tom Cruise.

    Always making interesting, different movies.

    I saw Moneyball with Brad Pitt the other day. No idea how I missed this flick before given it was 2011, but a really solid sports movie, especially given I've no love for Baseball.

    Jonah Hill is also really good in this, love his character and was even more intrigued this was a true story.

    Brad Pitt is actually excellent in it, probably one of his best movies I'd say. No surprises he got an Oscar nomination for his performance.

    8/10

    Yeah, good movie.

    I like Brad Pitt. Solid actor, with an excellent filmography.

    Doesn't seem to get the recognition he deserves.
