Doing the business apparently. https://www.eurogamer.net/high-on-life-is-now-the-most-popular-thing-on-xbox-game-pass

Resi 2 gave me two shit your pants moments as I simply didn't expect it. One involving a licker and the other (which never gets spoken about surprisingly) involving the tyrant. I don't tend to jump that easily as you can see when it's coming, but those two moments definitely shit my pants.

Fair enough. Some are not too bad. For example, I would class The Last of Us more as survival horror with tension rather than being outright scary. Of course, Alien Isolation would fall more under scary due to its atmosphere and, from what I heard, the Alien AI itself being very good when it becomes cat and mouse. I still need to finish that.

Not a fan of horror games then.

That's interesting. There's a few games like that but you have no idea how it gets there until the end. I liked Until Dawn and managed to save five of the eight (annoyingly, I couldn't kill off the one I hated), but don't remember if there's a path that saves all of them.

I haven't. Heard it was ok from what I remember when it was released. How much on Steam?

The Non-League Thread
Bluebird Hewitt replied to Bluebird Hewitt's topic in The Football League Forum
I see the Palace and Spurs legend is somehow still going. Only 30 as well. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/63888928 -
I've been meaning to get that at some point. Really liked Doom 2016 but never got this for some reason.
-
Not bad. Heard good things about that in fairness.

For some reason, I thought that shit down ages ago. No idea why. Nice. Haven't heard of it before but hope you enjoy For me, it's basically FM23 on my mobile when I get some free time between work, uni assignments and a house move.

While you both wait for this glorious game, you can play Jesus Christ RPG in the meantime. https://store.steampowered.com/app/449040/Jesus_Christ_RPG_Trilogy/#:~:text=Title%3A Jesus Christ RPG Trilogy,Franchise%3A Jesus Christ RPG

I find that an opportunity for certain types of criminals at a chance for redemption. If you win, congrats, you go free. If you fail, nighty night for you.

@Carnivore Chris, I have a PS5 myself, though it seems like you can't go too wrong with either console in all honesty. It's worth looking into Gamepass on Xbox though. Very good games to choose from for a monthly fee and even brand new releases are added to it day one.

Probably for the best to sink it really, as Twatter is an absolute shitshow.

@The Palace Fan I forgot to mention this for Clash at the Castle last month. I don't watch much of WWE, but remember really enjoying the NXT Takeover in Cardiff a couple of years back, when Gunther was Walter at the time. Why oh why did they change his entrance music? It was great under his previous guise, but now it just sounds like your typical 'I'm going to shit down your neck and rip out your baby's eyes' Eastern European style entrance music like others before him.

Watched a fair bit of it last night. The main fight was very good in fairness. Thought Mayer should have won mind, even if it was close.

For anyone interested, here's an article about David 'Bomber' Pearce. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-63143785 Admittedly, I've never heard of him until this article, but reads as though he could have had a great career. Not sure if the older members on here may have heard of him.

Good point for the part in bold. I'd forgotten about that admittedly.

Random question of the day. With all the sanctions placed upon Russia by the West, are they actually working in any way shape or form? I ask as at present, it seems that Russia are still able to try and press on with the invasion, while Europe appears to be feeling this more than Russia in terms of increased prices (mainly due to reliance on Russia I believe), despite the sanctions (which would take time for them to have an effect I believe). Not really seeing anything to suggest what we've done is actually affecting Russia. Time for a bit of research online methinks.

Started to give Pokémon Arceus a go. I like what they've done in fairness and in a future game, you could incorporate some of this into the mainline games (throwing pokeballs instead of battling when you see wild Pokémon, the wild area being more vast, more Pokémon to populate it etc). I haven't got too far into it yet, but already liking what I see.

Never played it in all honesty. Looks alright mind. The next remake required methinks is X-Men and developed and/or published by Dotemu, seeing as they were involved with Streets of Rage 4 and the TMNT remake.

England National Team Discussion
Bluebird Hewitt replied to carefreeluke's topic in International Competitions
Unless Southgate tried to stop topping the group like at the last World Cup, England will top it. Between us and America for the second spot I feel. -
Agree on Red Dead Redemption. Was very good overall, even though the online was a bit crap. As for Assassin's Creed, what I played was ok but when I played them back to back, I basically got burnt out and wasn't really enjoying them in the end. My general opinion: 1st - Can see what they were doing but very repetitive. Altair was boring as well. 2nd - Personal favourite of those I played. More side missions with more variation and Ezio was a good lead. Liked the story as well, though thought the final boss was ass. Brotherhood - Also very good. Really liked ways to build your own Creed, sending them out on missions etc. Plus playing about in Rome was always fun. Revelations - Meh. Couldn't get into this one. Hated the tower defence game (though ironically made you play the game more as an actual assassin ) and wasn't arsed with the bomb crafting. Also by this point that it started to feel too samey. 3 - Ambitious but didn't really like it, namely because Connor just came across as a whiney asshole, which put me off. That's where I finished as I didn't play much of Black Flag and Unity was a buggy mess when released. By the time Syndicate came out, I was already a bit behind and had no real interest in getting up to speed.

I haven't seen it myself. On holiday at present and where I am has poor signal and WiFi. That sounds good, though haven't played Breath of the Wild yet.
