  1. If correct, a commentator for CNN and MSNBC has tweeted that he hopes Melania Trump gets infected with coronavirus.
  2. Started working from home yesterday. It's ok but the lack of chatting with colleagues in the office and general socialising is not great. Having two dogs does help kind. My old man is under threat of redundancy as well as he works in a hotel. Also, supermarkets and supply chains are confirming that they're buckling under the strain of the thick fucking cunts. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-51961624 Cheers you thick fucking cunts.
  3. Saw that a while ago. The wonders of Steam.
  4. Richard Branson's a bit of a cock really. Think @Harvsky posted something a while back of Branson considering legal action against the NHS because he didn't get a specific contract.
  5. I'll have a look at some point, but I hope it isn't just 'super duper graphics'. Preferably I'd like to see improved framerate and AI more than anything.
  6. Cheeky cunt. I'm working from home anyway after confirmation from work yesterday.
  7. My issue, personally, isn't about actually going in (I have a meeting in the morning regardless and was always going to go in). It's the response when questioned on it that seems odd.
  8. Admittedly it's more to do with clarification around our devolved area (though it just sounds like politicising it a little as Drakeford has pretty much taken the PM's advice), though the Welsh Government are useless cunts at the best of times. I did mention to Gonzo that I have been tempted to make a general thread about them (more for ranting than anything) but am hanging fire for now. The irony is that where I work is part of the NHS.
  9. I've just had an e-mail form our workplace. We're to continue as normal and not work from home. When one of the union reps questioned this after the advice by the PM, the response was 'we need to clarify with the Welsh Government and Public Health Wales in regards to specific Welsh context'. Is there something I'm missing here?
  10. I'd get shot just for going outside my house and getting some eggs.
  11. As @Bluewolf mentioned earlier, wouldn't that be difficult to police (especially outside of cities)?
  12. Not sure as I haven't really been out since going on leave for the past couple of days. However, after today's announcement and going back to work tomorrow, it'll be interesting to see how it goes. I need to nip out at some point to get Mother's Day stuff as well.
  13. You're told to self isolate by your club, so Mount decides to have a kick about. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51910780 Remember when I said about the stockpiling and people's stupidity @Stan?
  14. Delicate balancing act methinks. Shut them and they may go under. Keep them open and it could spread further. The school one is odd mind.
  15. Will be checking later as I'm on leave but have my work's laptop with me for assignment work. After the stockpiling, fighting and general cuntiness that has happened, I think we're the complete opposite to that.
  16. Starting to really piss me off as well. I was going to nip down to Tesco just to get a couple of Mother's Day stuff but really can't be arsed to deal with this sort of bullshit. The thick fucking cunts. My mam mentioned that her friend went into Aldi's and saw someone trying to buy a whole crate of baked beans. When staff informed them that they could only have four tins, they responded with 'what are us vegans supposed to eat?' Really have no time for these thick fucking cunts.
  17. Yeah I have heard. My sister only just left Australia on Thursday but didn't get tested when she got back to the UK.
  18. UK Government have announced fines of £1k or be detained if you refuse self-isolation. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/coronavirus/coronavirus-brits-face-£1000-fines-or-being-detained-if-they-refuse-self-isolation/ar-BB11dNYY?li=BBoPWjQ I wonder how long it'll be before people class this as a tax or something stupid like that.
  19. This isn't the only time it happens in the UK. People stockpile when there's the slightest amount of snow as well.
  20. Initially I think you got tested straight away. Now I think it falls into the self isolation period, though I'd like to think you'd get tested earlier based on the bold scenario as it makes more sense. The general idea I get is that they don't want to place a massive burden on an already struggling NHS (ie. you may show symptoms but may be perfectly fine after a week etc) regardless of where in the UK you are. Of course I could be completely wrong on this.
  21. Yes and no. The current advice is if you show the symptoms, you must self isolate for a week as you mentioned above. If it still persists after that period, then you ring 111 to be tested (I think). Personally, I find this a little bizarre as you could have easily passed it on by that point, especially if you have come from somewhere like Italy without showing any symptoms.
  22. My mate has been posting updates from the local Tesco nearby me. Absolutely ridiculous the amount of things that aren't in stock (especially as all the stuff the thick cunts are stockpiling are all things that require minimal effort to cook, the lazy thick cunts).
