I remember trying to do a Metal Gear run through back on the old forum. Only did Metal Gear, Metal Gear 2 and Metal Gear Solid though (The Twin Snakes was next, even if it was just MGS with MGS2 mechanics and graphics).

The Last of Us was quality, but play it on hard at least as the game is completely different to Uncharted. Anyhow, finished a run through of Sonic Mania (best 2D game since the Mega Drive ones easily) and thinking of either continuing with it or setting up the Switch. Also have Yakuza Kiwami in reserve as well.

Finished South Park: Fractured But Whole and have started Sonic Mania. Great stuff so far.

Britain's on lockdown now due to the 'Snowpocalypse'. Sorry about that.

EA about to get fucked once again. Apparently UFC 3 will have microtransactions and loot boxes, including an upgrade that can make you punch harder......in a UFC game. Clearly not pay to win there.

EA's shares apparently dropped and even Disney had to tell them to sort it out. The game has also sold considerably less than the first one did as well and that's with damage limitation (ie. temporarily suspending the pay to win model).

So then. Who has been laughing at EA for the past couple of weeks well and truly fucking up Battlefront 2?

Finished the Crash trilogy in its entirety (whoever thought it was a good idea to add relics to Crash 1 with those annoying as fuck bridge levels deserves several slaps) and aiming to start South Park: Fractured But Whole at some point while continuing the bloody idiot journey on FM18.

Just as well that was taken in Exeter then.

Microsoft have officially ceased manufacturing the Kinect. https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2017-10-25-kinect-officially-dead Not really surprised by this. A nice idea but the cost of it on its own mixed with how poor it actually was (is there a single game that actually managed to use this even remotely well?) and lumping it with every Xbox One at launch (thus bumping the price up) for no reason meant it was going to be a tough sell.

I would if I had a Switch. I have been thinking of getting it depending on any deals that may crop up as the new Mario was the one that might push me into getting one. That or I will wait until the new year.

Other than a couple of graphical changes (ie. a bus instead of a plane and using an umbrella instead of a parachute when jumping out), it's practically the same. The only difference I saw was that as Fortnite has a building mechanic, that has become part of Battle Royale as well. As for Battlegrounds, it looks good and am hoping that it comes to PS4 one day (Microsoft bought the exclusive rights to it, though unsure for how long).

Isn't that pretty much all PC communities? As for me, I got South Park Fractured But Whole in the post but as Stick of Truth was a free download, I've decided to give that another run out. Here's something I found strange. I have the PS3 copy as well and have got trophies for playing and completing the game, yet instead of logically combining the PS3 and PS4 versions together, the trophies are separate from each other (despite the achievements being the exact same).
