  1. Football Manager? Not really that many in all honesty.
  2. Don't think it was generally too bad, though quicker characters tend to have the upper hand over slower ones.
  3. Basically playing through the game in 'hard mode'. Two main rules: 1. If a pokémon faints, it is considered dead and must be released. It can't be used again. 2. You can only catch the first thing you see in any new area. However, I've seen some use a 'duplicate' clause in that if you catch, for example, a Pidgey in one area and the first one you see in a new area is Pidgey, you can catch the next new one (otherwise you could end up with a team full of the same pokémon). To make it harder as well, some will not use healing items in battle and have a setting changed so that you don't know what the next pokémon is when in a battle (in the games, you're told that your opponent will use a certain pokémon next and if you wish to change. The setting change means that you can't switch beforehand). I pretty much follow all the above just to make it a little more challenging.
  4. Following this and seeing random videos, I've started to do a Pokèmon Leaf Green nuzlocke. First attempt was..........shit, to put it simply. Second attempt has been much better so far. After this, it'll likely be Yakuza Kiwami 2 and Death Road to Canada, though I like the looks of Dead Cells as well.
  5. Regardless of what you think of the series, Nintendo are going all out for Smash Bros Ultimate and you can't knock them for content. Every character that has featured in the series so far, as well as a few new ones (so around 70 characters), just over 100 different stages (excluding the other variation), assist trophies coming out of your arse from various games, apparently 28 hours worth of soundtrack music (and the ability to turn your Switch into a music player for it as well), 8 player smash on all levels and a fair amount more as well. Pity the poor sods who have to balance this.
  6. I think this is mainly the Switch version as it's one of the Nintendo reviewers who are under fire.
  7. IGN, you cheeky fuckers. https://www.forbes.com/sites/insertcoin/2018/08/07/ign-investigating-dead-cells-review-allegedly-plagiarized-by-its-nintendo-editor/#db807b1422e6
  8. Interesting additions just for a piss about. https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2018-08-04-fifa-19-has-a-survival-mode-and-you-can-turn-off-the-referee
  9. Wasn't sure whether to post this in the gaming area or in here, but though this was a better place as it delves more into the, quite frankly, laughable 'journalism' of one newspaper (and the actual journalist themself, of which some of it is quite concerning for a media outlet) rather than the game itself. https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2018-08-01-anatomy-of-a-tabloid-fortnite-front-page-story
  10. Pretty much completed Shadow of Mordor (bar a few trophies) but unsure of what to play next as Yakuza Kiwami 2 is out at the end of the month and I don't really want to start anything big. Tempted to buy Death Road to Canada on PS4, especially as I have a small amount in my balance on the PS Store.
  11. Tbh, it's getting to the point where I just want to know if it's the EU or the UK and Welsh Government that'll fist me now.

This is pretty much the same with me as well, especially as where I am is a damn near guaranteed Labour win and a guaranteed Welsh Labour Government at the end of it. I do 'vote' (and by that I mean spoiling it), but it makes absolutely no difference who I would have voted for anyway.
  13. So we got this teddy bear last Sunday. Think my other dog is happy.
  14. Might be better off spitting.
  15. I echo @RandoEFC's earlier post.

    Jesse Ventura disagrees.
  17. Really starting to like this now, mainly for the nemesis system and the stories you can get out of it at times. Today saw me trying to leg it from a Caragor (basically a wolf thing) as I hate fighting the bastards. I didn't realise that a captain was nearby and he came to attack me..........except that he had a fear of Caragors and shit himself when he saw it. Cue the Caragor mauling the fuck out of him while I fought the other orcs that tagged along. He eventually got free (but very weak) and legged it for dear life. Not letting the opportunity go to waste, I gave chase. Unfortunately for the poor sod, he ran into a fire and died.
  18. They've apparently removed them now, though the damage has probably been done.
  19. Started Shadow of Mordor at long last after buying it 3 and a half years ago. Liking it so far, though started a bow challenge that required 10 headshots to complete. No probs.........until three captains (aka the bosses) came from nowhere and basically raped me along with extra arrows in the ass and knee for good measure from the archers. I'll be having that cunt in due time.
  20. Hope the unfairly rejected Sol Bamba boots Vardy in the air you cunt.
  21. Instead of drowning sorrows following yesterday's defeat, Britain is off to raid the Build a Bear shops instead. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-44809213
  22. Great to hear that the Thai cave rescue was a success (bar the tragic loss of Saman Kuban. RIP), but am I the only one who finds this a tad distasteful, seeing as it's not even been a week since the rescue mission was completed? https://m.uk.ign.com/articles/2018/07/11/thai-cave-rescue-is-becoming-a-movie?abthid=5b462de6c4c8c01936000426
  23. Hamilton down towards the back after a clash with Kimi.
