  1. Great to hear that the Thai cave rescue was a success (bar the tragic loss of Saman Kuban. RIP), but am I the only one who finds this a tad distasteful, seeing as it's not even been a week since the rescue mission was completed? https://m.uk.ign.com/articles/2018/07/11/thai-cave-rescue-is-becoming-a-movie?abthid=5b462de6c4c8c01936000426
  2. Hamilton down towards the back after a clash with Kimi.
  3. Finished Sleeping Dogs fully now and may give Fortnite a shot to see what the fuss is about. I've been meaning to try the first one at least as it was a remake on PS4. Heard generally good things about the series as a whole.
  4. Yep. Rage quitting and constant cheating throughout just to win on a video game. PUBG I've heard is getting a battering as cheaters are rampant (on PC at least anyway).
  5. I'm nowhere near. Haven't played it since I got to the 300 or so mark.
  6. Looking at the screenshots, is it just international teams or are clubs in there? @Dr. Gonzo, I've heard some decent things about State of Decay 2 but it apparently has a fair few bugs as well.
  7. Cracking picture but your phone needs to be charged.
  8. It's a bit rough around the edges (a diamond in the rough if you will) and isn't a particularly good looker, especially as it had gone through a bit of development hell (it was originally going to be part of the True Crime series called True Crime:Hong Kong, but it got cancelled by Activision before Square Enix bought the publishing rights and renamed it to Sleeping Dogs). So long as you're not expecting it to be on par with GTA (it isn't), you might like this.
  9. Finished Doom a couple of days ago (great game) and have started a second go on Sleeping Dogs (was available on the PS Store for under £4). It's as good as I remembered it and has the DLC with it as well, with one I never tried so will feel brand new.
  10. Went out for a bit and the damn dog got to the new dog food and ate a bit of it, the greedy fat cow.
  11. Would have been nice to hear something from Sony or Nintendo regarding Death Road to Canada being released on PS4 and Switch. Been looking at the game for a while but now unsure what system to buy it for.

Great stuff. You should ask her to help out. Celebrate gender equality and not leaving a man to do all the work.

Nice. I'm currently off until the 25th but had to do some fence painting in between, which was a slight pain in the ass. What gardening work are you doing?
  14. I have it on Wii U and started it but never got back to it. It's meant to be very good, though I have been told that it spikes considerably later on.

Mentioned that to my mates. £10 or £20 donations only and nothing else. Would be curious to hear if many on the pitch donated.
  16. I see @Toinho and @Devil-Dick Willie are being blamed for the Australian government's shit broadband. https://m.uk.ign.com/articles/2018/06/04/australias-broadband-chief-blames-gamers-for-wireless-problems
  17. Surprised by that. Catherine was a good (though very difficult) game, even if a bit awkward at times. Probably quite niche mind. As for Steelbooks, they don't tend to do much better really. The problem with my area at least is that your choices are either Game (shit) or CEX (smelly shit). Amazon were ok but have stopped trade ins now. @Cannabis I never did in the past but if certain games hold their value and I have no intention of playing it again, I tend to do that in bulk rather than now and then. Bit pointless just hoarding games if you have no intention of going back to them.
  18. That's pretty good in fairness. The only 'deal' you may get is getting a brand new game (for example, God of War), for £20 (maybe more as I haven't checked recently) if you trade in a relatively new game from a small list (for example, Shadow of the Colossus). Bit hit and miss really.
  19. And I've done as much as I can really be arsed with now on Yakuza Kiwami. Done the side stories and got all my abilities so the only things really left to do is complete the game again on legendary (another time maybe), get 100% completion (can't be arsed) or continue doing things with one of the characters to like me (meh). So it's one of those listed above alongside the likes of Alien Isolation, Injustice 2 (bought the legendary edition when I upgraded my phone) or Football Manager Touch on the Switch.
  20. I wouldn't usually say a good deal, especially with the slim pickings at least in the UK.
  21. There's Football Manager Touch on Switch as well.
