  1. EA have confirmed that there won't be any microtransactions or loot boxes added before or after Fallen Order is launched. https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2019-04-13-star-wars-jedi-fallen-order-is-a-single-player-story-game-with-no-multiplayer-and-no-microtransactions While that sounds great, EA are not the most trustworthy of companies and I'll have to see it to believe it unfortunately.
  2. What the actual fuck is this? https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2019-04-11-activision-blizzard-pays-employees-to-share-their-pregnancy-data
  3. I'm looking at getting Cuphead on Switch. Was always interested when it was first released but don't have an Xbox One or a proper laptop, so couldn't get it.
  4. What sort of filter is that (assuming it is a filter)?
  5. I heard something about it but haven't read it fully. That's absolutely stupid on a grand scale. Now I can't ever go to Dubai in case this comment crops up.
  6. As much as I'd like to be interested in it, it's published by EA and that alone makes me not too interested at present.
  7. For anyone interested, the original Phoenix Wright trilogy has come out on PS4, Xbox One and Switch. Little bit steep at £27, especially as it's a port of a port of a port but with crisper graphics and adjusted for HDTV displays, but they're worth a go if you like linear story based type games with courtroom drama with some investigation and interrogation scenes.
  8. Forum rules don't allow old topics to be revived.
  9. Anyone having a flutter on the Grand National tomorrow?
  10. Cheers for that. Wonder how this works with me as I have Amazon Prime but have an online subscription via a group of mates (the family account), which I'm not the main holder.
  11. Nice. Temperatures going to be hot isn't it?
  12. Forgot to ask. Where are you heading off to?
  13. I was like that when I was asked if I wanted to go to Morocco (though I know that it's one of the more 'westernised' countries in Africa), but decided to go there and was glad I did as I really enjoyed it (bar the early morning call to prayers ). Even managed a kick around in a local square with some kids..... before they got booted off by the adults wanting a game. All thanks to our genuine Abidas football). Got mine from John Lewis the last couple of times as they appeared to be the best rates available on the high street, though the rates are generally quite poor at the moment. Same. I don't mind the beach but I burn far too easily and would look like I ended up as part of the BBQ. Only possible holiday being discussed so far with me is Iceland in December. Waiting until next week for more flight details before looking into it further. Could be one of my last holidays depending on circumstances.
  14. I see the Nintendo and Microsoft partnership is coming along well. Cuphead has been announced for Switch and can be linked to Xbox Live achievements.
  15. Tbh, I've tried to get rid of a lot of it because I either have other methods of playing them or I simply don't play them anymore (the N64 being my only exception).
  16. I know you're kinda taking the piss but I do still have mine.
  17. I don't have an Xbox but thanks for the thought. Haven't played a Formula 1 games since the PS1, trying to win with Damon Hill.
  18. Except that this would fall under sheer hypocrisy and pretty much set the tone for future votes (ie. If you don't like the original vote, just keep protesting and giving the middle finger to everyone that doesn't agree with you until you get the result you want).
  19. You say that but as @RandoEFC and a couple of others have mentioned before, you start to tread a very fine line for not just that vote but any other votes in the future. Imagine that the people's vote did happen and the same majority (52/48) occurred in favour of remain or whatever the question is that time around. What then? As you may be aware back in 1997, Wales voted for devolution. Though this is from Wikipedia (the majority is correct though), note the majority and the turnout. This was much closer than the EU referendum, yet devolution went through, no one complained and Labour have fucked things ever since. If we tried another vote, it'd get shot down immediately. I dread the time a Welsh independence vote is made. I'm not saying that Welsh devolution is as important as the EU referendum, but hopefully you get where I'm going in regards to votes etc.
  20. I know nobody cares, but England were 31-0 against Scotland and after 76 minutes, England have fucked it. 31-38.
  21. While I agree that she could have done this better (in general, being more open to the other parties (where possible) in terms of a better deal for the UK), I think the part in bold is a tad harsh. What is she supposed to do when the likes of the SNP (who admittedly have their duty to the Scottish who overwhelmingly voted to remain), Plaid Cymru (who pretty much gave the middle finger to the majority of the voters in Wales) and Lib Dem basically fight against Brexit at all costs and barely (if at all) provide anything in terms of negotiations to try and get the best deal? What is she supposed to do when Labour, the main opposition, has been indecisive for the two years as well and have done very little in terms of negotiations, followed by Corbyn's temper tantrum after losing a no confidence vote against May and instructed Labour not to discuss anything with her? What is she supposed to do when the Tories effectively started back stabbing each other and imploding because any deals made wasn't 'there ideal Brexit' (I admit that this is something May could have possibly sorted out, but even then you can't predict when something like this could happen)? What is she supposed to do when many MP's from most parties simply didn't want anything to do with Brexit whatsoever and even attempting to lie about it (such as Owen Smith persistently lying that his constituency voted to remain in the EU)? This is just internal to the UK. Put all these together and you get the main question. How was May going to negotiate any form of deal that could possibly benefit the UK when she is sent to negotiate with the EU with her hands, feet, fingers, toes and wrinkled pussy tied by all parties (including her own)? You also have to question whether those who rejected the deals actually had it 'in the best interests of the UK' or whether it was purely politically motivated ('I won't vote for this because it's the Tories etc). Don't get me wrong. This is not intended to be a full defence of May and when she took over from Cameron, she knew what she was walking into, but for some to say that she's one of the worst PM's simply because of this (especially as we had a PM who went to war on the basis of 'a belief' and innocent people are now paying the price for it) is ridiculous.
  22. Yeah, I didn't help myself by saving with no health items and being one hit or grab away from death.
  23. Well @Mel81x, after numerous deaths of trying to get everything in one go, I finally managed to pull it off. Got my key item, got my grenade launcher and managed to get the three main items required to progress in the game. I did have a moment of madness as I searched around for the best part of an hour wondering what the hell I do next.......... before realising that due to utter panic of the amount of zombies coming through windows, trying to eat me and legging it asap, I missed one door that held the item required to get one of the three key items. The same room however gave me a much needed green herb as well, meaning that I could finally get my health back up to full after mixing with a red herb. Now I have a fair bit of pistol ammo, a grenade launcher with both flame and acid rounds, a first aid spray and five ink ribbons (as I'm on Hardcore mode). Getting there now.
