  1. I saw this but going to have to go lower. Nice scenery on the locations and good action sequences but when the story is so weak, it's hard to keep totally engaged. 6/10. I'm still yet to see a straight to Netflix movie I've really loved. Extraction and The Irishman I'd lean towards solid good films.

    Cricket

You've got to try and cross that one off, preferably an Ashes game. You won't beat it in this country. There's a reason why the Western Terrace is reknown for it's hostility and hospitable welcome to away fielders

You couldn't pick a better ground for atmosphere too. Headingley and Edgbaston probably the best two grounds in this country for atmosphere here.
  4. Seems to have been around forever, actually was surprised to read there he is 32, definitely would have said 34/35. He's your classic Championship striker. Can't quite hold down a regular spot in the Premier League but feels dead comfortable the level below. Not often failed at this level. The one thing he has always had going for him I've seen is he usually finds himself in the right areas for finishing. He does get himself in that box like strikers should. It will be a clever signing for Stoke that, especially as they have players like Josh Tyman who can get good delivery into the box.
  5. I've started watching Black Bird. Think it's on Apple TV, three episodes in and I have to say, its a really really strong start. For anyone that doesn't know, Taron Egerton is Jimmy Keene, a former star athlete turning to the life of crime as a drug dealer. He's caught by the FBI and 'tricked' into pleading guilty, facing a 10 year sentence behind bars. Here's where it gets interesting. The FBI ask Jimmy is he will move to a harsh prison in an undercover assignment in the hope of befriending a serial killer and getting a confession out of him for the murder of some girls and the whereabouts of several suspected 'missing' before they run out of time. The guy playing the serial killer, Larry Hall, is absolutely brilliant as a complete strange individual who really isn't all there. Ray Liotta is Jimmy's father, one of the last things Liotta filmed before his death, so it's cool to see him make an appearance and Greg Kinnear is the detective trying to solve the murders/whereabouts of the missing girls. Worth a watch for sure.
  6. This looks interesting. Kinda gave me a Falling Down vibe. I rate John Boyega as well and he looks so different here with no hair.
  7. That should be enough to give Rodgers a 5 year contract extension.
  8. Especially with little to no strengthening so far. I left Rodgers alone purely because I feel you'll do ok with everyone back to health and no Thursday football, but I can imagine patience will wear thin if its a sticky start.
  9. Bit harsh. I get it for obvious reasons but still Personally, I think Marsch has a better chance of surviving than Lampard. Think the smart money could be on Marco Silva at 9's. We know their owner loves a knee jerk.

Shame for Nadal but ultimately I think asking to win a semi and a final was going to be too much with the abdominal pain. It almost feels like it's Kyrgios' year, it's all falling his way and when he takes to the court on Sunday, he'll be well rested since Wednesday. He's playing really well, as I mentioned before, that serve is clicking. He will never have a better chance. Fingers crossed he can pull out another big performance. He could well have a lot of the crowd on his side.

    Euro 2024

I think Germany will be a great Euro's. Easy to get to, some great spots, every game will sell out, and I think it adds to the tournament when the host country can go far and genuinely even win it. I would like to see another big tournament in Spain soon though, they are due to host something.

Kygrios breezed through. He's getting better as he goes, that serve is really clicking for him. Gameface on for him now, he's in uncharted waters, first Grandslam semi, you'd back him for the final at this rate.

Annoying to see Djokovic come back but even when they are two sets down, you'd still not back against Novak or Rafa to turn it around. There are rare occasions of course bit usually the rest are not quite at that level enough to go for the kill against these guys. Hoping for a Kygrios/Rafa semi tomorrow. That one would really fascinate me.

He splits the crowd massively and can be such a bellend but that was an absolutely epic match with Tsitsipas. Nick Kygrios is box office and it's compelling to see an absolute wildcard like him play the gentleman's game.
  15. Rapha has always wanted Barcelona from day dot. I don't think he's ever agreed to Chelsea nor has he turned them down. Chelsea have done what we've asked and met our valuation with a big chunk of the money up front, no messing about. But it's clear Deco and Barcelona have been meeting to see if they can salvage something before it's too late. Deco was photgraphed the other day there when he should have been at Stamford Bridge discussing personal terms. Barcelona desperately want Rapha, they know the player wants them, they have the personal terms 'agreed' but they haven't met our valuation. And they want to pay us in installments which is not as attractive to us. They are trying to be clever and force the move through the player and his agent so we accept less, guess we'll see what happens. I suspect Barca will get him but they have to at least match your bid. Personally, I'd rather have the chunk of money up front but I do like the idea of him not playing for another club here.
  16. He'll be 33 this year. Irrespective of the case, I don't think he had a future at Everton anyway. It's time to look at younger, hungrier players who can be the mainstays in the team the next 3 to 4 years.

She is the Chesney Hawkes of Tennis.
  18. To be fair, his old man had about 15 bloody clubs in all. I really like Cresswell. He's an absolute brute of a kid, solid as a rock and in all honesty, would love to have him here. But these U23 lads we got, they all want to get out there and play games. So much talent we have, but its keeping them happy. Millwall will love him. Him and Jake Cooper together, you would not fancy being up against those two.

Can't believe Berrettini and Cilic have to drop out for Covid, especially Berrettini, he was looking great having won at Queen's. Bonus for Rafa's side of the draw I guess but you don't like to see it.

    Anyone but Djokovic, please.
  21. Going to be interesting watch under Arveladze and the new owners. They are aiming for technically better players than what they have which is a demonstration of their ambition. Can't fault that. They want to aim high. However, despite all the links, those players are yet to arrive. Honeyman is a strange one in that he feels like a solid 7/10 player for them every week and when things go rough at various points in the season, you need various characters in your squad you can rely on and he would be one of them. He'll fit in well at Millwall. My gut is telling me there's more of a tit's up relegation vibe about Hull than playoffs so a lot will depend on who they bring in.
  22. I've not heard that one to be fair but I really hope it works out for you.
  23. Well well well, Steve Bruce is having a cracking start to the window. First John Swift, now Jed Wallace. You'd be liking the look of them now, especially with Daryl Dike returning after his horrendous injury.
