  1. Our son took these photos this morning on a brisk walk around Edinburgh. Arthurs Seat Robert Burns Memorial
  2. This shot of him below watching us lose to Leicester is minus the grin and reminded me of Jose when he was nearing the end at OT. Looks like he has swallowed his bloody teeth watching 'Arry square head' Maguire captaining his glorious defence.
  3. Great player in his playing days but manager wise at United total zero, but even if he did go you will still have pricks like the Glazers & Woody hanging around. If he did pull a miracle off and win the Europa I will stop calling him the smiling little gnome
  4. Ole seems to think the Europa is a lot easier to win than the FA Cup. Come the end of the season where we win fuck all and maybe finish in the top four Ole will give his little gnomish grin and say "We will go all out next season to win the Champions cup..." god, give me strength.
  5. She is harmless Buddy, you have to take care of her though, in her glass tank, the daughter has a fan to make sure she has the right temperature and Geckos are loners and like to be by themselves, Buddy knows when the daughter is around and if she wants out for a wee stroke or cuddles, the daughter feeds her with live flying insects she gets at the pet shop in a glass jar, the daughter will let them loose in her enclosure flying around where Buddy will catch them for food, this keeps her alert and fit.

I remember the floods in Tilbury, Essex in 1953, I was 4 years old then but I can remember me, my mother, brother & sisters were all upstairs watching my old man on a door paddling around downstairs as the water was 6 foot deep, I looked out of our bedroom window and some guy was in a dustbin paddling along the flooded street, we all then were carried into a boat when the water receded a bit and evacuated to Chadwell which was on higher ground and everyone was allocated in a big hall. 1953 tilbury floods
  8. The daughter's pet female Gecko, let her out of her glass enclosure for a wee wander while the daughter and son built a new enclosure for her, lovely wee type lizard and very shy and only comes out really in the late afternoon or at night, at the moment Buddy is shedding her skin for a new colour.
  9. One Step Closer to the Moon with the Artemis Program!
  10. Have to watch that but the first Jumanji with the late, great Robin Williams, I don' think you could ever beat that, I have lost count of how many times I have watched it.

That's made me bloody hungry again now and I made myself 2 pork steaks, potato wedges and peas earlier on.
  13. It rings a bell and it was released in 2013 so it might be buried somewhere in my room as I am a bit of a book worm, I have read a few of Kings books but I can't say I am a fan of his, I can take him or leave him, I don't mind James Herbert either and 'The Fog' & 'The Rats' were good reads but it is the same old story to me when they make a film of the novel, the books are far better than the films. You can't beat Lee Child and the character Jack Reacher, I have all his books except for a couple of short story ones, his last book 'The Sentinel' was co-written by his son Andrew so it's nice to know someone is following after his old man.
