The wife managed to call around our daughters and see her favourite pet rat in Charamanda, the oldest one who may not have long to go as she is over two years old and slow, it's bloody weird as soon as she sees the wife she gets frantic to get out of the cage and when she does she is all over the wife with tiny squeaks and nuzzles into the wife and gives her wee kisses, it's a joy to see and to think once upon a time the wife was petrified of rats or mice, not nowadays.

Around our daughters watching wee Kaiden while our daughter was moving bits and pieces into her new flat, her 2 new pet rats Sushi & Zoom were giving me the evil eye wanting out of there cage for a run-around, no danger, our daughter can control them better than me.

And there are still a few more in the kitchen drawer and a couple in the bedroom.

That's me and the wives COVID-19 jab appointments just arrived, at a bloody Conference Centre the other side of town from us at 16.40, the 4th of Feb, the wife is not looking forward to it but I said look on the bright side darling, that's on my State Pension day payments and we can go for a pint or two after. Edit: The wife pointed out the pubs are closed so that idea is up the shoot.

I mentioned this once before but I am sure I had the virus before the first one hit big time around March 2020, around October/November 2019 I felt fucking awful and I thought it might have been the symptoms of the flu as I had my flu jab a few weeks before and you get that and it only lasts about 24hrs. I felt like I was on death's door, headaches, sweating, shivering, I had no energy what so ever and could hardly eat, all I did to get rid of it was sweat the fucker out by rugging myself up with jumpers and tracksuit bottoms, a hot water bottle and a bottle of water on the bedside table when I went to bed, I could hardly sleep and tossed and turned, this lasted a couple of days then I gradually felt better. Our daughter who has done a bit of nursing in her time and has looked after the elderly and sick kiddies always pops in here to see if we are ok, gives us a quick check-over, she brings around a Digital Finger Pulse Oximeter, Oxygen Saturation Monitor Spo2 for Adults and Children with Omnidirectional OLED Display, and checks us over, I was thinking of getting one myself, they don't cost that much.
