For me, that was the best of the five. Having read all of Lee Child's and Jack Reacher's books, it is nice to see them being filmed. You should watch the 2 Reacher films that Tom Cruise made of the characters Reacher One Shot & Never Go Back, Cruise acted OK but never a Reacher. Cruise is around 5ft 4inc tall and the character Reacher is 6ft 5lnc tall and between 220-250 weight-wise so they changed the actor for the new films to Alan Ritchson who is 6ft 2inch tall and has done a lot of bodybuilding which makes a better Reacher. Just bought the latest Lee Child/Jack Reacher book and am in the middle of reading it

It's that time of the year coming up, Santa is calling
CaaC (John) replied to CaaC (John)'s topic in The Pub
I can just imagine having a 'dip' in that, half pissed on Christmas day The prezzie for Kaiden did cost a wee bit but it's worth it, you see kids these days around Christmas time running around the streets smashing up cars and whatnot. I was lucky when I was a kid. I got a Beano & Dandy book, a cowboy hat, and a gun, and that was it. -
Well, this is where your bank balances get hit for gifts and whatnot, my wife and I like getting our presents early and hiding them away, but the bloody cost nowadays for decent presents is stupid. We normally concentrate on the young ones first, but this year, our 2 oldest grandsons are quite happy with dosh and aftershave, etc. Wee Kaiden was a different story, he kept hinting at a PlayStation 5 as an early present and a few odds and bobs at Christmas time so we relented and managed to get one at a snip at £437.00, which knocked me for fucking six. Are any of you lot spending much this Christmas or are you all just looking forward to the booze and telling Santa to piss off!!!!

Your 2 games are my favourites, I do them for the fun of it and try and win which lately, I have been pretty good at it. I'm trying to work out who's knocking on the window could only mean that I have picked 2 winning scores for the first time I think, so I will just carry on not knowing what I am doing and keep winning.

No lol, I have never been a gambling man like our son, he would be in his glory in this game.

Err? What have I done now? lol

@ScoRoss could it be your year (Aberdeen) to knock Celtic off their perch buddy?
-
Brilliant if they did but in the days when Fergie managed Aberdeen and Jim Mclean was in charge at Dundee United their teams broke the stranglehold that Celtic and Rangers had in the Scottish league. I don't think the current Gers manager will last the course and get the bullet sooner or later if Rangers keep hitting the skids under Philippe Clement as they have, but back to the latter what you mentioned, it's a pity only Aberdeen are giving the Hoops & Gers a run for their money, other teams like the Hibees or the Jambos should be in the mix for trophies and make the Scottish league not a 2 horse race between Rangers & Celtic every year.

Yes and No, that's about it. I will knock the subtitles (captions) underneath off if the person(s) speak in English, otherwise, I will delete the subtitles.
