That looks gorgeous, going to give the wife a break from cooking today so I am going to have a slapdash John meal, once a month treat now that I am losing weight of pork chops, chips, beans and eggs (boiled for 3 minutes, not fried).

Last post on Data, just noticed (when checking his movies) that he is in The Super Hero Movie as Dr Mendel Stromm, I have never watched it so I might give that a shot and watch it, not that kind of movie is my cup of tea, though.

He is also in the Picard series I am watching now as a scientist Adam Soog, he just can't seem to keep away from Picard.

I always wondered what happened to all the actors in the Next Generation, out of all of them only Patrick Stewart hit it big time and was even knighted, Brent Spinner (Data), I spotted him straight away in the film Independence Day as Dr Brakish Okun.

I never really liked the very first Star Trek with Kirk, Spock & co, I enjoyed the Next Generation series and I was gutted when they finished the series and even the main actors Patrick Stewart (Picard) & Brent Spinner (Data) were puzzled why it never continued. Saying all that I did enjoy all the Star Trek movies even with Kirk & Spock.

My favourites were The Wrath of Khan First Contact

A Tale of Two Wives (2003) - Comedy/Drama - 7.5/10 It's listed as a comedy but a drama more likely, quite enjoyed it with none of the blood and guts and bonking, worth a watch with your other half.

The only way the despot Putin will pay for this is if he is taken down in a coup and then handed over for trial, he has a nuclear Arsenal that he is using as blackmail, Russia never succeded in Afghanistan and hopefully will never succeed in the Ukraine. Every time I see this war it reminds me of the despot Hitler and bombing Russian cities and killing innocent civilians for his lust for power and land in WWll, we all condemned Hitler for bombing the likes of Stalingrad, Leningrad etc and now bloody Putin and his Generals are doing the same in the Ukraine. Putin must have been reincarnated from Hitler.

The wife got a text message this morning and muttered "What the hell..." thinking I had sent it, the message read... Our son has moved in with his girlfriend and left one of his mobile phones here so it came in handy when the wife's sim card was playing up so I took his sim card out and put it into the wife's mobile. Well, he went for an interview for a job this morning and his girlfriend didn't know about the mobile he left here, thus she sent that thinking our son would get the message. Our son thought it was quite funny when I told him, then I reminded him "Don't forget the milk."

Back on topic, Tilbury Docks, played around here when I was a young kid and left the docks in the SS Himalaya in 1959 when we emigrated to Australia. When we landed in Australia and docked at Port Melbourne, then lived in Dandenong.
