  1. Danilo for the most part has been an accident waiting to happen at Real Madrid although he did improve towards the end of last season and we actually saw some glimpses of the player who did so well at Porto again. A signing that would be a risk but could pay off for the better, could reinvent himself again at a new club and the conditions at Chelsea under Conte would suit him a lot more I feel especially given the work Conte's done with the likes of Moses, Alonso, Luiz etc. We need better quality at wing back, this move could work out.
  2. Sausage Party Some funny moments and some nice ideas but meh. Also, even considering the film's make up, I thought the plot got worse as the film went on. 5/10 War Dogs Pleasantly surprised by this. 7.5/10
  3. What a pleasure to have watched and to have this man associated with my club.

The problem with opening the windows in this heat is that you have the cast of Bug's Life come in through them. Dilemma.
  5. @Storts Explain the hype over Dier please mate? I use to rate him.
  6. Going along Balon's lines with regards to James, I don't see how both him and Hazard work together in the system we play. The way in which I'd use James would be in a similar way to how Conte used Fabregas last season in a reduced role, starting games here and there and having an impact role from off the bench. For me playing both Hazard and James in behind wouldn't work as well (for some games it could yes) but not every game, Pedro for me complements the system very well but there's no doubt we need another attacking player who can play there next season given the increase in games. If we could get James for a reasonable price (which it looks like this won't be possible anyway) and have him utilized in the conditions I mentioned above (which would require good man management from Conte) then I'd be all for it. He's had a hit and miss season for Madrid in terms of performances but there's no doubt he's been considered valuable to them this season, considering how well Zidane has used his squad particularly towards the end of the season. He's been hit and miss but hasn't been helped by injuries, a lack of continuity in playing time and the fact he plays in a variety of different positions. The squad dynamic there at Madrid doesn't help him either where certain members of the squad will always play and the fact that this also dictates their playing style and formation. He's struggled since his first season to assert himself there which isn't necessarily easy given the conditions mentioned but I guess Isco now has managed to find a place in the starting eleven.
  7. Saul was my favourite character in Breaking Bad and this was one of the main reasons I chose to watch Better Call Saul.
  8. The Office was decent, really enjoyed it. Better Call Saul season 3 for me now.
  9. Yeah mate he's a don, the best football we ever played in the Roman era so far was under Ancelotti. The positive words in the book that come from not only some of the best football players in the game but some of the biggest personalities really highlight how great a manager he is, the fondness the players have for him in the book really is quite striking, the likes of Ronaldo, Ibra, Terry etc. Yeah, the book seems to challenge people's general perceptions of leadership which I like also. I don't know if you've read it yet but the part about Bale, Bale's agent and Perez is very interesting as well.
  10. Yeah, enjoying it, obviously particularly like the Chelsea snippets that are mentioned throughout. How about you?
  11. Finished Black Sails which was class. Onto The Office (years too late I know) but funny stuff.
  12. Yeah you'll love it mate, beautiful city. I was young when I went so unfortunately I can't give a more informed opinion on it but I remember it being really nice. A place I would like to go back to.
  13. Charly Musonda should be getting back to Seville for a season long loan at Betis, he's the type of player that would suit Setien's style and it would be cost effective for them as well. Setien will do well there or it will go completely tits up, it's either going to be one or the other and no in between. I'm excited for them though and it's good to see them move away from the conservative managers they've had in recent times and it looks like they have a set up there now that could benefit the club in the long run. With Serra Ferrer's arrival as vice president (and his ideals) and I was reading how their B team has been playing a similar brand of football to Setien's for a while now, it looks like the pieces are finally starting to fit together a bit more and you'd hope they're at the beginnings of some sort of stability and club identity being formed. A lot different to around this time last year with Poyet in charge. Setien is going to have to work wonders with that squad though and he's going to have to bring in the players to suit his brand of football and hopefully they can keep the likes of Ceballos and Adán as well. I'll always have a soft spot for them now after my time in Seville and it's going to be an interesting season ahead.
  14. Love Kante but he's so shy and softly spoken (not that this is a problem) but he is also bordering on awkward as well. He was seen as a bit of an odd character at Leicester as well and I remember saying when he signed that a reason he may have chosen to sign for us was because of the amount of French speakers we have in the squad. I think he'll get use to the attention over time and get better with dealing with the media etc as he gets older which happens with a lot of players.
  15. Casemiro has his flaws but there's no doubt he's essential for that team given the gaps and holes that can appear when Real Madrid lose the ball. He is however becoming increasingly more reckless in the tackle as time goes by and that puts me off him as a player. I think they could make good use of Marcos Llorente next season, he's much better technically than Casemiro and has the potential to become a big part of this Real Madrid team in the future. Modric, Kroos, Llorente, Isco all in the same team, that's class. I'd like to think they'd slowly integrate Llorente in next season as certain games suit Casemiro and others don't.
  16. Oh yeah he was. The game was already lost by then as we were 2-0 down with five minutes to go in one of the worst Chelsea performances I've seen from us in years.
  17. I worry about him sometimes during games but bans aside when playing (correct me if I'm wrong) he's never been sent off for us. He's a half a season man yes but his return is still good, Hazard got us through the second half of 2014/15, the first half of 2015/16 we were shit and this current season Hazard, Pedro and Fabregas have mainly got us through this second half, the goals and players have come from elsewhere. Not forgetting Costa was our player of the season until January and there are Atlético Madrid fans currently dying to get him back. For me if he can stay, and he himself is happy to do so (for one more season at least even), I think we're happy days, I don't see another striker that we've been linked with that suits our system as well as Costa does, hence it's not worth the money and effort bringing someone in. It is however important that we bring in another attacking player, we need someone of high level to join Hazard, Pedro and Willian. I couldn't think of a better signing for us than Sanchez, he would be a dream signing and he could operate up top as well as in behind, he has the perfect player profile for our system, unfortunately can't see it happening.
  18. I'm more than happy with Costa if he wants to be here, I think the 'baggage' part is overstated and it's easy for the media to play on the type of character he presents. His biggest problem is his technical ability which can worsen depending on what form he's in, if he's playing well and scoring goals his ability on the ball is not perfect (of course) but a lot better, it strikes me as mental thing with Diego to be honest. He also delivers a lot off the ball which can go unnoticed and it's a department he's much better in compared with some of the strikers we've been linked with. There's no way I'd want us going in for Lukaku for that sort of money.
  19. We can dream. Kante / Fabregas / Bakayoko / Chalobah Hazard / Pedro / Sanchez / Willian Costa / Sanchez / Bats
