nudge Posted February 10, 2020 Author Posted February 10, 2020 All 6 days of testing will be shown on F1TV Pro, Sky F1 UK and Sky F1 Italia. Full live timing will be on F1 TV.
nudge Posted February 19, 2020 Author Posted February 19, 2020 Russell's already half a second faster than his qualifying times here last season Same with Perez.
Moderator Tommy Posted February 19, 2020 Moderator Posted February 19, 2020 Williams not dead last. Also a bit mean that Charles has to drive today. He hadn't finished his school homework yet.
nudge Posted February 19, 2020 Author Posted February 19, 2020 Also it's great to see the garage screens banned. The mechanics are still trying to block the view at times but it's still a thousand times better than it used to be. Impressed with reliability of all cars so far; not a single red flag or a serious technical issue today.
Moderator Tommy Posted February 19, 2020 Moderator Posted February 19, 2020 Looked at all the cars again, and from a aerodynamic point of view I find the Renault most intriguing. Hope it works out for them. Glad that Williams didn't have any issues. That they were the first ones on the track today was just great to see.

Here's a nice read about it: https://the-race.com/formula-1/gary-anderson-explains-renaults-ultra-narrow-nose-gamble/

I'm only a layman of course, but when I looked at the whole design of the Renault, specially the front, I thought to myself "Well, this makes sense and looks quite efficient." I wonder if Ferrari will bring a slimmer nose to the 2nd test. I heard rumours about it.
Moderator Tommy Posted February 20, 2020 Moderator Posted February 20, 2020 Surely that's illegal? Imagine the outcry if that was Ferrari.
DeadLinesman Posted February 20, 2020 Posted February 20, 2020 Well nobody knows yet. Pretty certain Mercedes aren’t fucking stupid enough to put an illegal item on the car in absolute plain site of the cameras. Preseason and the whinging about Merc begins already.
Moderator Tommy Posted February 20, 2020 Moderator Posted February 20, 2020 https://streamable.com/bsx3j Haha, look at their heads going back and forth. Like a bunch of meerkats.

Eco Posted February 20, 2020 Posted February 20, 2020 I'll laugh for hours if this is deemed illegal. But I'm not sure I understand what (if any) advantages this would have?
