1-1 at full time for us. Penalties now. We've had some decent spells and it's been nice to see some of the new lads fitting in but the team as a whole don't look overly match fit. Hoping that won't be too much of an issue when it comes to the league matches next weekend especially as there's a chance to get some match practice in midweek with the EFL Trophy game.

Lost out on penalties. Not too disappointed as we did play well in parts. Our penalties were not great but we only lost 4-3 so wasn't too bad. With a build up of fixtures likely to happen, it may not be the worst news we're out of this.

Some surprises already. Birmingham losing at home to Cambridge. Forest out. Norwich lose at Luton. Cardiff and Swansea loss. Peterborough out. Qpr out.

With Premier League clubs perhaps not taking it too seriously (moreso than previous years) could be a good chance for an EFL side to go through to the latter stages, maybe even win it...
