Subscriber CaaC (John)+ Posted September 12, 2020 Subscriber Posted September 12, 2020 West Brom are in advanced talks to sign Troy Deeney from Watford after pulling clear of Tottenham in the race for his signature, Football Insider understands. The Championship outfit have given up hope of persuading the striker, 32, to stay this season as he looks for an instant return to the Premier League. (Football Insider)
Devil-Dick Willie Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 He makes a fair point. I'd have him if I were newly promoted or villa.
Dr. Gonzo Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 I know a Watford fan from uni, he seems pretty desperate for Deeney to go. Thinks he’s a club legend, but his legs have gone and has been a big part of the reason why Watford were so shit going forward last season. Idk if he’s just bitter that the captain wants out... but he did go to matches pre-covid, and you tend to do see a bit more of how players act off the ball more when you’re at a match.

Deeney just scores a lot of pens. Be a good signing for you or Man Utd
