Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted January 12, 2021 Subscriber Posted January 12, 2021 I don't know what that's supposed to be. 5-3-2 with Iwobi and James up front? We're losing here.
Administrator Stan Posted January 12, 2021 Author Administrator Posted January 12, 2021 Iwobi opens the scoring! 0-1.
Administrator Stan Posted January 12, 2021 Author Administrator Posted January 12, 2021 The lead doesn't last too long as Neves equalises for Wolves.
Inverted Posted January 12, 2021 Posted January 12, 2021 “But did he pick out Neves intentionally?” Why do English commentators absolutely fucking hate football? They are literally incapable of watching a nice bit of play without digging up some reason to be dissatisfied.
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted January 12, 2021 Subscriber Posted January 12, 2021 Think we've done alright. I'd fancy us to nick this if we had Calvert-Lewin in the box to get on the end of these crosses from Digne but a draw would be a decent result here too. Playing Sigurdsson up front instead of Tosun seems to be a bit pointless so far.
Administrator Stan Posted January 12, 2021 Author Administrator Posted January 12, 2021 Everton re-take the lead!
Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted January 12, 2021 Subscriber Posted January 12, 2021 I honestly don't know how we keep getting this results from such ordinary performances. I was really convinced this time after the West Ham loss and the laborious win over Rotherham that we'd get fucked here with no striker and go on a bit of a dip in form. Love it though. Ancelotti is showing a real knack of just getting the very best out of what's available. Using players to play to their strengths instead of trying to directly replace key players like for like. It will end eventually but good to see us still in the mix.
Lucas Posted January 12, 2021 Posted January 12, 2021 This Wolves team is a completely different animal to what we've been used to the last couple seasons. Losing Jimenez was tough given he was the focal point but aside from that, their biggest strengths were keeping clean sheets, and that's well and truly deserted them. Just not the same unit without the injured Boly, or Johnny and Doherty in the wing back areas.
