Danny Posted February 8, 2021 Posted February 8, 2021 I don't even know how to predict a Brentford match anymore but Reading are a decent side with good players, we've beaten them once this season but their quality shone through even then. Reading are on a decent at the moment and I think we'll win the game by a 1 goal lead.
Subscriber Pyfish+ Posted February 9, 2021 Subscriber Posted February 9, 2021 Looking for Exeter and Newport to win their games to make the picture look a little brighter for Grimsby and gives us a little bit of hope that we will actually get out of our mess.
Bluebird Hewitt Posted February 9, 2021 Posted February 9, 2021 Ojo gives us the lead, a bit against the run of play. Rotherham push a fair few up for a corner, lose the ball, Ralls quickly feeds Ojo, who pretty much has a one on one from the half way line. 1-0
Bluebird Hewitt Posted February 9, 2021 Posted February 9, 2021 Urgh. Another bit of shite defending. Crossed on the floor, Ng loses his man and its a simply tap in. 1-1, but can't say it's not deserved.
Bluebird Hewitt Posted February 9, 2021 Posted February 9, 2021 Ball has been changed to the yellow ball as the snow is really coming down now. What happened to the orange ball?
Subscriber Pyfish+ Posted February 9, 2021 Subscriber Posted February 9, 2021 Grimsby now bottom of the Football League
Bluebird Hewitt Posted February 9, 2021 Posted February 9, 2021 We've retaken the lead. Cracking ball in from Murphy, who finds Bennett unmarked at the far post and heads it in. 2-1
Subscriber Pyfish+ Posted February 10, 2021 Subscriber Posted February 10, 2021 To add insult to injury, this is the first time Grimsby have ever been 92nd in the Football League.
Danny Posted February 10, 2021 Posted February 10, 2021 It's hard to say this and I don't know how to, because no fan ever wants to say it and have to live with the potential consequences after it. But. We are the best team in the league, by a large margin, and are going up.
Danny Posted February 10, 2021 Posted February 10, 2021 So much I want to say but we are currently without our best centre back, the organiser of our defence and our best midfielder who also happens to be our best defensive midfielder. And we are still top, still on a 21 game unbeaten run, won our last 4 games and won 8 of our last 9.
Danny Posted February 10, 2021 Posted February 10, 2021 Last season Mitrovic was the top goal scorer with 26 goals over 46 games. We are currently 28 games into the season, we have 18 to go, Ivan Toney has scored 23 goals.

What a time to be alive.
