nudge Posted June 1, 2017 Posted June 1, 2017 I wouldn't have minded if we had re-signed Selke, but not for 8+ million Euro, so I'm glad the deal didn't happen. Hertha reportedly paid 12 million for him, that's madness.

Devil-Dick Willie Posted June 1, 2017 Posted June 1, 2017 Yeah, heaps of cash, bit I think he can deliver. Glad we didn't as we have the striker slot filled up at the moment.

Johannsson is as good as gone. Pizarro is as good as gone or will only play a very limited amount of time if he stays. So we only have Kruse and Bartels + Jojo Eggestein and Manneh in U23. This is definitely not good enough and I'm glad we're looking for a new one!

Didn't know blondie was leaving, and if we are looking for a striker then we should be looking for someone to play off Kruse, not replace him. Selke is too good to bench, and too expensive to splash.
