Spike Posted January 28, 2022 Posted January 28, 2022 27 minutes ago, Cicero said: Matthew Lillard, Jamie Kennedy, and David Arquette were brilliant. Scream is the perfect example of where the genre of the film isn't changed despite there being some comic relief. Brilliant writing. The best part of the film was when Skeet Ulrich (Billy) accidentally threw the phone at Matthew Lillard (Stu) whilst he was dying and his reaction was genuinely natural. Great movie. Genuine moments of comedy and horror without compromising the integrity of the humour or scares, I Know What You Did Last Summer, isn’t half bad either, does the same job just without the meta-commentary and worse acting.
Cicero Posted February 2, 2022 Posted February 2, 2022 Also, adding on to how brilliant the first film is, there are so many subtle clues throughout the film that Wes Craven included. I've seen this film arguably 100 times and I genuinely pick up something new every time. As per below, after watching it this scene becomes infamous in giving away the killer's identity.
MUFC Posted February 2, 2022 Posted February 2, 2022 Watched the first 3 Screams in cinema. 4 was good, will this one come on Netflix? Have also watched the Scream series.
