Nah, don't care about them at all. Could be better once other manufacturers join next season, but I didn't like LMP1 and I expected better design for the hypercars... Disappointing so far.

It's all about LMP2 and GTE for me.

In terms of how the actual cars look and sound, I feel the same way. But LMP2 is extremely competitive, so it's fun to follow. 

A new class based on GT3 will replace GTE in 2024.

Alpine crashes out! Bad luck, they actually had a chance to challenge the Toyotas this year.

Hit a wet patch or something, they literally just slid off the track.

Both WRT cars and both sets of driver have been fantastic so far. 1-2 in the class on their Le Mans debut, hopefully they go until the end and win.

Not sure what happened, Neel Jani was 3rd and giving the Ferrari ahead a hard time, then was overtaken by a Corvette, and then got unlucky due to the safety car. Seems there's some technical issue with the car now as he dropped further...

Question - 

So when this ends...does the LMP2 winner celebrate as well? I mean he won't be the overall leader, but since he's leader of his/her group, is it still considered winning the race?

It's considered winning the class. Each class gets a separate podium, and then there's the overall podium.
