Very important to have Lena Oberdorf back for this, especially against phsyically demanding Columbians. Felicitas Rauch, our only leftback got injured in training. Chantal Hagel, who is a central midfielder, will play in her position.

Colombia are dirty fuckers aren't they? No wonder their game against Ireland got abandoned.

Yup, borderline physical. Also constantly surrounding the referee.

Anyway, not a bad game from us so far. Maybe lacking precision in some areas, but I'm hopeful for the 2nd half.

Fucking hell, what a game. Managed to score the equaliser in the 89th minute only to conceed again in the 97th minute. :( Columbia are tough to play. Their first goal was absolutely worldclass though.

Hopefully we'll beat Korea now.

Oh and I hope Columbia's Carabili's injury is not as nasty as it looked. Very worrisome.

Early lead for Australia against Canada. Nice goal, first ruled offside but the VAR corrected that decision. Canada haven't really found a way into the game just yet.

Almost agree with England's line up today.

Hemp & James feel clearly ahead of Kelly.

And Rachel Daly now in the midfield.. getting closer to striker..

Still feels less stressful to me than the men would do, but I want a star in my lifetime & long past caring too much about genders.

Agree about James and Hemp. Much more supportive for the striker.

Russo scores!

England too good for China, creating plenty of opportunities.

One of the China defenders was pulling Russo's hair then. Thought that was not allowed, and refs would be quite strict on that?

Cruel if this is disallowed. Don't see the offence there. No different to when a striker just leaves the ball and lets it go under his feet for another player to then run onto.
