Dave Posted July 5, 2023 Share Posted July 5, 2023 If we're going to lose any big player this summer, other than Zaha, I imagine it would be Marc Guehi. Left footed centre backs always seem to be in high demand. We're in that awkward position where to improve our starting XI to match our core players, we would need to invest 40m, but we don't seem to have 40m. If they lose Zaha that is a massive gap to fill, they don’t seem to have much investment in them which means the team might go stale. A lot of individual talent in that team but I feel like theyve just stagnated and without investment that might drag them down. Personally think Bournemouth and Luton will have good seasons, but agree with the rest. Obviously it’s too early to make any real predictions but thats how I feel about them atm.
