Subscriber Viva la FCB+ Posted April 30 Subscriber Share Posted April 30 De Ligt not healthy enough to start, Kim is in for him. Other then that pretty much what to be expected. Laimer and Sane were a bit iffy on fitness to but they are going. Davies on the bench for Maz. Fairly happy with this lineup.
Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted April 30 Subscriber Share Posted April 30 Don't know if Bayern have enough to keep this Madrid side at bay but it will be an interesting match to watch. The best of the two semis imo.
Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted May 1 Subscriber Share Posted May 1 Real shame that Bayern didn't hold onto it there because at one point I thought they'd have been two up had Kane taken on Rudiger a bit better. Still, this is now going to Spain and Real have been tough at home in the CL.

Im optimistic in how well I think we controlled that match and probably deserved a result but im pretty cautious in that Real keeps doing this. Leipzig.. City now us. We may have needed that result Im not very optimistic we can reproduce that in Spain but we'll see. Its a real shame De Ligt got injured against Frankfurt. Kim hasn't looked good since coming back from Afcon and hasn't been getting alot of matches lately because of that. Its a real shame that both goals where pretty much on him, especially in an otherwise pretty stellar performance from the rest of the team.
Michael
This was a very entertaining match. Plenty of action and both sides created chances but I felt that Bayern edged it. It's a shame Bayern didn't hold on to their 2-1 lead, as they now face a very difficult task of getting the better of Real in Madrid, if they want to make the final. Leroy Sane and Musiala were excellent in their attacking play and were constantly causing headaches for the Real Madrid defence. Laimer also had a very good game in midfield breaking up the play and winning the ball for Bayern. Vinicius Junior was the stand-out player for Real Madrid. His pace and excellent play was too much for Bayern defender Kim Min-jae, who had a poor match. Bayern will be hoping that the excellent de Ligt is fit enough to start the return leg in Madrid. Toni Kroos was also class in midfield for Real Madrid as his passing was impressive for most of the match. The return match in Madrid promises to be just as exciting as these 2 European heavyweights battle it out once again. Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted May 8 Subscriber Share Posted May 8 Hang on, did the ref actually blow the whistle for the ball being out or did Real just assume and throw it in?
