Aaaand it's back to reality for Danny Ric. P18 and out in Q1. 😬

End up last as well due to the 3-place grid penalty.

2nd to 5th could be interesting.

Perez false start?

Got away with it but it did look incredibly dangerous. Could have t-boned Verstappen or Sainz but somehow found the gap between the two!

Norris in 1st just as Sargent/Magnussen crash.

Safety car out which is a bonus for Norris.

Why does the SC come out ahead of Verstappen? Force of habit xD ?!

Not sure if they messed up the safety car procedure a bit there because I don't think Norris should have gained that much of an advantage.

This has been quite competitive anyway. Decent chance Norris could see this out. Verstappen has only had a tenth or two advantage over Ferrari and Mclaren throughout the race.

I think Sainz is naughty there. Missed the apex and damaged Piastri's front wing in the process. Should be a penalty in my opinion. Lando looking good though 🤞.

Superb from Lando. Delighted he could get his first win! Smashed it out the park considering the gap he created to Verstappen.

McLaren were desperate for Piastri not to mess up and cause a SC xD

That race just goes to show that new tracks can look bad if their first couple of races are boring. The quality of an F1 race depends heavily on the circumstances of the day. The conditions and how competitive the field is. Any track can yield an all timer if the circumstances are right. Other more popular tracks can turf out snooze fests as well. Not saying Miami is a great track but I thought it was all very well balanced today. Overtaking through the field was possible but not too easy and Red Bull weren't able to win at a canter. These ingredients = entertaining F1.

Max is seriously the funniest driver on the grid. I never understood people who said he has a boring personality.
