Terzic just announced to step back on a pc.

There has been a lot of discussion about a lack of tactical nous with Terzic, but I think he's been given a free pass because he's Dortmund through and through.  Disappointing to see him let go considering he got them to a CL final.

Wondering about two things. 1) Does this have to do with Hummels allegedly telling the club it would be either him or Terzic? 2) If this allegation is true, who the fuck gives such explosive internal club information to media outlets?

Reports online saying that he handed in his resignation.  I suppose Dortmund didn't have to accept it, but if a guy wants to leave and terminate his contract then it's better than having to fire him later.

As well as Hummels played hes still 35, if that was really the case Dortmund was probably already half inclined to be moving on from him regardless I would figure, no?

Not saying it is, just wondering whether it might.

Edit: Apparently it hasn't - kicker are now reporting Hummels would have to leave Dortmund.
