Not old enough to have seen Turek or Stuhlfauth myself. Maier is a special case, since I still was a child when I watched him, and since he was graced to play in what was argueably the best team Germany ever had. Kahn you may remember yourself, I suppose. As for Schumacher and Stein: Those two were most likely the 2 very best keepers of the 80's. It's a bit of an irony that none of them was undisputed as our first choice national keeper, since both of them would have been easily the keeper number 1 in every other country. Only issue was that one keeper, who was on the same standard as themselfes had the same nationality..
