Machado
This is all a bit embarrassing isn't it? That's modern football at its finest.
SirBalon
Atlético Madrid still need to add something special in central midfield to really compete and expect success (expect being the key word here). Gabi is ageing and Koke needs to be freed from the shackles he has put on him in that midfield. But Antoine Griezmann staying is the biggest statement of intent they could've ever wished for considering who it was that had tempted their superstar to leave. It's a first and hopefully it won't be the last either because now they have to work to renew Jan Oblak seeing as the only way they would be able to match or infact supersede that status if he were to leave is to formulate (somehow) the return of their son, David de Gea. SirBalon
Just now, Stan said: Making videos (or being part of a company that does) for a reveal of a players contract decision, and it not even being for his own club. He's not the only one I have at fault here, though. Everyone involved. It's just ridiculous attention-seeking. Just don't see the need for all of this publicity and all these video statements about it. One of the companies he owns (and created) is Power to the Players which is the one in question here along with Kosmos Studios. The reasoning behind the creation of this company is because of the way the media/journalism works where they take people's words out of context or in the worst case scenario actually invent lies. It's not as if we don't all agree with this and haven't all been witness to it over the years and criticised it all. Hence the creation of this enterprise which gives power to those in the media spotlight and with an issue that is sensitive to public speculation. What better way to sort it out than to eliminate journalists and the media and to publish the CORRECT information yourself where there is absolutely NO CHANCE of missenterpretation, malversation of the facts and at the same time issuing the information required for the public so as the knowledge is made available... But BY the sportsman! I see absolutely NOTHING wrong in all of this. If you read my previous post on the reasons behind it and the Gerard Piqué involvement, you will have read that HE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT DECISIONS Antoine Griezmann had made. Indeed he had seen the two versions of the video but hadn't been told by anyone as to what way it would sway.

Dr. Gonzo
If I'm honest, this whole video thing has made me have 0 respect for Griezmann, even though I'm happy he didn't join Barca.
