Dave Posted May 25, 2018 Posted May 25, 2018 @Bluebird Hewitt may be an ideal player for you guys? Burnley forward Jonathan Walters says he is available for transfer after holding talks with manager Sean Dyche. The Republic of Ireland international joined the Clarets from Stoke City for £3m last July but made just five appearances in his debut season, the last of those coming against Manchester City in the FA Cup on January 6. Walters underwent knee surgery later that month but has been unable to break into the Burnley team since returning to full fitness
Administrator Stan Posted May 25, 2018 Administrator Posted May 25, 2018 or could go back to Stoke? Fans love him there don't they?
Danny Posted May 25, 2018 Posted May 25, 2018 I feel like he'll be a Championship player now on very large wages

Getting on a bit as well as coming off from knee surgery and as @Danny mentioned, he's likely to be on high wages as well. If the wages were lower and he hardly cost anything, this wouldn't be too bad a deal.

At the time, the odds for Huth's next club to be Stoke on Skybet were 6/1 which I thought was pretty good value. I think he'd do a good job in the Championship for Stoke even if it was just for one season.

I think he's over his injury problems as well which affected him for all of season just gone.
Dickie Posted May 26, 2018 Posted May 26, 2018 I'd have both Huth and Walters back in an instant, think they'd do wonders for us in the championship
