And if they could have afford them all. Those Palermo teams were absolutely wonderful to watch, and extremely pesky to defeat. I loved them in Serie with Pastore and co....
Dr. Gonzo Posted June 5, 2018 Posted June 5, 2018 Palermo coming back into the Serie A would only a good thing. Bring back Derby delle Isole! Just because Cagliari are poo, doesn't mean they shouldn't have a derby match all season unless they come across Serie D Torres somehow.
Eco Posted June 5, 2018 Author Posted June 5, 2018 Palermo and Parma joining Serie A in the same season... Only wish Foggia could join them.
Dalmore Posted June 6, 2018 Posted June 6, 2018 It's not sure that Palermo promotes to Serie A yet. they have 3 more games to play.

Eco Posted June 6, 2018 Author Posted June 6, 2018 And Frosinone score in the 17' minute to make it 1-0 to the visitors.
Eco Posted June 6, 2018 Author Posted June 6, 2018 And an own goal by Brighenti ties it up at 1-1. Cittadella 1 - 1 Frosinone
Eco Posted June 6, 2018 Author Posted June 6, 2018 Cittadella 1 - 1 Frosinone FT Next up: Venezia vs Palermo
Eco Posted June 6, 2018 Author Posted June 6, 2018 Palermo goes out in front! La Gumina scores in the 53' minute to make it 1-0 Palermo
Eco Posted June 6, 2018 Author Posted June 6, 2018 And just as quick Venezia tie it up thanks to Marsura Venezia 1 - 1 Palermo
Eco Posted June 6, 2018 Author Posted June 6, 2018 And that's it. Both matches end in a 1-1 draw in the first leg!
Dalmore Posted June 7, 2018 Posted June 7, 2018 my personal choice would be Cittadella to be promoted. They played the most sensational football in Serie B this season. probably the only team that played sensational football in Serie B
Eco Posted June 11, 2018 Author Posted June 11, 2018 Serie B Promotion Finals First Leg Wed, 13/06; Palermo vs Frosinone Second Leg Sat, 16/06; Frosinone vs Palermo
Dalmore Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 so unlucky. The outcome between Frosinone and Cittadella was a draw but Frosinone proceeded to the finals because they finished higher on the ranking table. Citta would have knocked them out if they were playing with 11 men.
Eco Posted June 14, 2018 Author Posted June 14, 2018 One...More....Game and the comeback is complete.
ScoRoss Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Frosinone win promotion to Serie A, in what can only be described as an 'eventful' game...
Eco Posted June 19, 2018 Author Posted June 19, 2018 Heard some rumblings about it, but sadly missed it. I'm absolutely gutted for Palermo.
ScoRoss Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 Who even know what is going on with Italian football anymore?
