Dave
Quote Turkish club Galatasaray have confirmed they have begun formal talks with Everton over a deal for striker Henry Onyekuru. Sky Sports News understands it would be a loan deal for the 21-year-old if it goes through. Onyekuru joined Everton last summer before being sent out on loan to Belgian side Anderlecht. He scored nine goals in 19 appearances for Anderlecht but returned to Everton in January this year when a knee injury ruled out him out for several months. Subscriber RandoEFC+ Posted July 9, 2018 Subscriber Share Posted July 9, 2018 Forgot about him. He was top goalscorer in the Belgian Pro League before his injury and seemed to be scoring every week for Anderlecht. Looks like he could be a talent. I'd be interested to see what he could do in an Everton shirt to be honest but if he's not in the first team picture for this season the Turkish League would be a good step up from the Belgian one for his next challenge. The work permit rule is fucking stupid. If he's done well in Belgium, it's stupid that the FA won't let him have a chance in England.
