That's the effect of the GOAT CR7 playing for Madrid though. Different story these days, Barcelona should be able to stomp Madrid in this form. Barça are more than capable of beating Real Madrid especially considering the other teams that have managed it this season but Messi missing is a big hit psychologically and also the two big games with Real being the second one after Inter in the Champions League midweek. First and foremost it's mostly La Liga players winning it and secondly this season it'll either be Modrić or Griezmann winning it who are both established La Liga footballers. ...Dan
Espanyol up to 2nd. Marc Roca and Mario Hermoso are two really good players and Espanyol will struggle to keep them.
SirBalon
This season is proving to be a packet of liquorice allsorts so far. Obviously recent history dictates that the usual suspects will eventually rise to the top and fight it out between themselves. But all sorts of records are being broken in the games played and not since 1948 have we had such a start to the season at this stage coming into the 10th league week. It looks pretty exciting and with one thing and another we could conceivably see a very unusual winner this season.
