Dave Posted October 20, 2018 Posted October 20, 2018 Been a key talking point this week in the media. What's your take on it?
Marc Posted October 20, 2018 Posted October 20, 2018 He's been there about 5 years and has hardly played in a run of games, now he's played well for about 5 in a row and gets an improved contract. His agent has done well. There has also always been question marks over his attitude I believe his contract was up at the end of the season, which puts Man U in a difficult position, but i'd have waited till after xmas at least,
Subscriber Dan+ Posted October 23, 2018 Subscriber Posted October 23, 2018 Agent has played an absolute blinder, but the precedent was set with the Alexis Sanchez signing so expect more of this from Man Utd. The media making this out to be a positive move are hilarious as well. How do people fall for it?
Cicero Posted October 23, 2018 Posted October 23, 2018 195K per week. That is close to Marcelo's wages.
Subscriber JoshBRFC+ Posted October 24, 2018 Subscriber Posted October 24, 2018 Why would United want to let him go? He's still only 23 and there have been clear improvements in his game and he will surely improve even more. The transfer fee they would have to fork out for another left back who's as good as Luke Shaw makes it a no brainer. Tie him down to a long contract with decent wages and they're all happy.
