Caley Shaun Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 After today, I think he'll be a goner by Monday and rightly so as his reign has been shambolic. As for replacement, I'd say Alan Stubbs.
Jay Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 He was raging after the match yesterday with the officials, the linesman in particular, getting the brunt of it. He was not a happy man on the phone-ins, it has to be said!
ScoRoss Posted April 19, 2017 Author Posted April 19, 2017 It wasn't a great sign when John Hughes left the club, only a year after winning the Scottish Cup and finishing third. Seems to be a glass ceiling for the club and Hughes knew it and jumped ship. They always seemed, under several managers to bring in guys from lower league football in England and Scotland, and progress them onto a higher level. You can only go on losing good players for a period of time before they finally regress. I really hope Caley can stay up, because where else are Aberdeen meant to scout their new signings?
Smiley Culture Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 What's happened at Inverness? They were finishing fairly well in the top six and it seems to have gone to pot.
ScoRoss Posted May 30, 2017 Author Posted May 30, 2017 Lack of investment following their success and appointment of a rookie manager. Plus, they lose all their best players for nothing every year. They managed to keep bringing in decent players from lower leagues, in Scotland and England, and mould them into better players. But when you appoint a rookie coach to carry it out, it won't end well.
ScoRoss Posted June 7, 2017 Author Posted June 7, 2017 A club legend for Caley, but it would be a huge step up for him.
