Subscriber CaaC (John)+ Posted January 7, 2019 Subscriber Share Posted January 7, 2019 Manchester United have lined up a move for Porto right-back Eder Militao this month. The Brazil international will cost £42m after a buy-out clause was agreed last year. The 20-year-old is rated highly by Old Trafford transfer chiefs who think he represents a long-term investment for the side. But Real Madrid are also interested, according the Mirror, and United may have to battle the La Liga side for Militao’s signature. https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpool-star-plunges-anfield-future-15638712
Administrator Stan Posted January 7, 2019 Administrator Share Posted January 7, 2019 Wasn't Dalot meant to be a 'long-term investment' for the side, also from Porto, given his age...? I'm so glad we got Pereira before United did
El Profesor
Militão is the real deal. He's an excellent CB, who can also be used as a RB. Physically imposing and has also great technique. Not only Manchester United, but also Liverpool should put an effort to get him, he and Van Dijk together would be something.

Not seen him play but if you are right about his potential we could use him at United. I have heard that Real Madrid have been sniffing around him as well and if true, the lure of Real will be hard to beat.
