nudge Posted October 18, 2019 Author Posted October 18, 2019 He'll have it tough to win it this time I reckon. Regardless of his experience and two Macau wins, driving this current F3 car is completely new for him and Carlin also have struggled in F3 this season as well. And even if he managed to win, I don't think it would have a big impact of his career anyway. As much as I'm aware he's currently looking for an F2 seat for next season but with RB having dropped him he'll probably find it hard to get enough sponsorship money.
nudge Posted October 18, 2019 Author Posted October 18, 2019 Also some news: Jüri Vips is set to replace Patricio O'Ward in the Super Formula finale. This is probably the confirmation that RB are putting him in a SF seat for a full season next year. Quite disappointed with that to be honest. Prema confirmed 5 drivers for their post-season F3 testing - Enaam Ahmed, Logan Sargeant and Oscar Piastri will run on the first day while Frederik Vesti and Enzo Fittipaldi are scheduled for the second day testing. Will probably be a lineup of Vesti - Piastri - Fittipaldi in F3 next season for Prema.
nudge Posted October 18, 2019 Author Posted October 18, 2019 Pato O'Ward was released from the Red Bull Junior Team but it seems he wasn't dropped for performance but rather freed in order to make a return to IndyCar - apparently with the new McLaren team (Arrow McLaren Racing SP)!

Also found this video...Holy Shit.

Lucky that no one got killed and her injuries healed quickly as well.

Moderator Tommy Posted October 21, 2019 Moderator Posted October 21, 2019 I just started supporting her when there was talk about a talented girl coming through the ranks, despite financial difficulties. Of course she's a good looking young woman too, which should help her career in terms of marketability.
nudge Posted October 22, 2019 Author Posted October 22, 2019 F3 post-season testing Day 3 results: Session 1 Session 2 That ends the post-season testing. We'll now be waiting for the official driver announcements for the next season. It should be a very strong grid by the looks of it.
Moderator Tommy Posted October 24, 2019 Moderator Posted October 24, 2019 Hard to watch somehow as it looks so painful. But it's a step, albeit a small one considering what still lies ahead of him.
nudge Posted October 24, 2019 Author Posted October 24, 2019 Euroformula Open 2019 Season driver-by-driver review: http://www.formulascout.com/euroformula-open-2019-season-review/55251 Well worth a read. Also the official calendar for the new season has been released:
nudge Posted October 26, 2019 Author Posted October 26, 2019 Oscar Piastri is the new Formula Renault Eurocup Champion Great championship battle with Victor Martins who won the final race but it was not enough to clinch him the title; hope to see them both in F3 next season. Caio Collet finished the season as the best rookie. This means R-ace GP actually won it all - the Drivers, Teams, and Rookie championships.
