Subscriber nudge+ Posted April 26, 2019 Subscriber Share Posted April 26, 2019 Still no end to it... Three explosions in Saindamardu, Kalmunai, when Special Task Force and Army attempted to raid a house in which terrorist suspects were hiding. Police believe the suspects blew themselves up after a shootout with the special forces. Explosives found in a house in Sammanthurai, Ampara. Seven arrested in a raid conducted by Police and Army; suicide vests, drones among items found. The Sri Lankan suicide bomber who studied at a Melbourne university was one of the subjects of a terrorism investigation by Australian security authorities in 2014 after intelligence emerged linking him to Islamic State (IS) operative Neil Prakash. 6666
Are they acting on new intelligence they gathered since the attacks started or are they acting on intelligence they already had but initially didn't do much with? Either way, they currently seem to be doing a good job in going after the terrorists.
