That fine seems a bit out of proportion given the short length of the ban. Quote

Smiley Culture Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 42 year-old Jamie Cureton has signed for Bishop's Stortford, only two of the current squad are within twenty years of his age and when Cureton played for Farnborough against Stortford in November, not one of the starting eleven for Stortford that day were born when Cureton scored his first Premier League goal. I wasn't expecting anything magic but I didn't think they would be as low as 19th. Although come to think of it I don't know if the new owner has had a transfer window to bring in new players... Maybe - I don't keep up with Orient for the National League all too much. National League North is where it's at. Quote

The Director of Football, ex-boss Martin Ling, basically was in charge for pre-season, which was disjointed because of needing a whole new squad and the late deal in regards to the change of ownership. Steve Davis got a matter of weeks, I think about three, with the team before the season started and that didn’t help but neither did him being a dire manager. Justin Edinburgh seems, from what I can gather when I actually look, to know what he’s doing. Quote
Eco Posted January 20, 2018 Posted January 20, 2018 If York had anything resembling a defense, they'd be having a top 2 spot. Up 2-0 against Spennymour, and allowed them back in the game, with it ending 2-2. The good run continues though, good crowd of 3k as well which sounded great on BBC York. The draw means that York has gotten 16 points in their last 6 games, which is hard to complain about. Quote

Administrator Stan Posted January 22, 2018 Administrator Posted January 22, 2018 my mate's brother is the goal-keeper at Hemel Hempstead. Used to be at Brackley so sometimes look out for the HH's results now. Good to see they're in the promotion/play-off picture. Quote
