Guest
Excited for this one. Fariñez is for me the best young goalkeeper in the world. He won't get game time due to Ter Stegen being probably the best in the world, but he deserves a move like this for how much he's shown in his early career. If he’s a good keeper, wouldn’t you rather see him play than sit 3-4 seasons on the bench?

Unless Ter Stegen either leaves or goes mental, I would say Fariñez is crazy just opting for Barça for his cv.

Yeah it's a dead move to just let your career stagnate when you're that young for a good 3-4 seasons. He may get some good coaching and learn from Ter Stegen but you're better off continuing to play at that age, not just being a bench-warmer. Yeah, and I'm not sure that's a great career move. Goalkeeper is a position where experience matters. If you're young and not playing, you're going to be old and have youthful inexperience - no matter how well you've been coached. If he stays for 3-4 years on the bench and then wants to move on... I'd have a hard time thinking it'd be a good move to sign him.
LFCMike
Probably play a couple of cup games and hope some mugs pay 30m for him in a year or two like Everton did with Mina.

I was thinking a Mina situation is possible. Depends on what happens with Cillessen though I reckon.
