I'm shocked they are even trying.

Weren't they worried about having enough spare parts just the other week?

They have been worried about it since the start of the season haha.

Yeah that's a big blow for them on their home soil... Hopefully they'll look better in the race trim but the qualifying gap was really disappointing.

Max seemed to be unhappy with a sudden setup change and thought it was "too conservative".

I'm up and half awake. Let's do this. Just caught up on Quali, what a lap from Seb. On his favourite track Suzuka of all places, where driver skill REALLY matters B|:German::Italy:

No action against Seb? Kimi got a drive through penalty for the same thing last time xD ridiculous.

Well - he didn't get an advantage, and in fact penalized himself by stopping and restarting. Seems like it makes sense to me.

Max is out.

So the same like Kimi. Doesn't matter anyway, a jumpstart is a jumpstart.

Yeah - very true. I will say the guy on F1 TV is suggesting that Vettel didn't pass the line and came to a complete stop, which means no penalty.

That's irrelevant as the regulations clearly say that no movement is allowed before the lights go out, regardless if the car crosses the line or not. It seems that here the problem is a sensor that didn't register the movement so Vettel got lucky.

Well - pretty exciting race.

Mercedes wins the constructors and the individual driver. Congrats to them as they have clearly been the best this year.

Very disappointed with Ferrari this race,  such shambolics.

Kvyat ends up 11th, just outside getting points.
