Ligue 1 is brutal in terms of physicality. I actually think he´d be more protected in Premier League. But on the other part, I agree, his antics would be much more scrutinized in England. -

There´s talk of Pogba at Real, but I still think Pogba is a better fit for PSG. French star, marketable, midfielder. Pogba for Neymar. Who says no? -
Interesting stat, Firmino has never won a title in his career. It´s kinda amazing that a footballer of such high profile and at his age has never lifted a trophy.

He´s really good. Very dynamic midfielder, with a good pass and work ethic to defend. One thing that stands out is how his long-range passing is good, something for example Arthur struggles to do. Bruno can pass acuratelly both from short and long distances. Inter, Milan, Napoli, Chelsea, Lille and Shakhtar are said to be interested. Athletico is my hometown team and I used to go to their matches when I lived in Curitiba, so it´s exciting to see talents like Bruno Guimarães, Renan Lodi and Leo Pereira get interest from big clubs in Europe. A scouting report in english: https://najedendotek.wordpress.com/2018/11/25/bruno-guimaraes-atletico-pr-november-2018/ His highlights against Boca:

The article below is definitely the best one I´ve read about Venezuela. It´s a bit long but it´s well worthwhile the time in order to comprehend what´s going in Venezuela. https://palladiummag.com/2019/03/06/venezuela-an-up-close-look-at-a-nation-in-free-fall/

Arthur is excellent.

Thanks, Stan. I´m fine, I live in a different state. Unfortunately, the number of victims will grow in the next days, there are hundreds of missing people near the site.

Chavismo transformed venezuelans into the low class of south american. It´s a humanitarian disaster. Today, the United States, Brazil and many other nations have recognized Juan Guaidó as the legitimate president of Venezuela. Hopefully, this is beginning of the end for Maduro.

Surprised by how fast Vinicius Jr. adapted to european football. He probably should be a starter at this point.

Good stuff. Hope you enjoyed your visit. :)

Looks a bit indeed. My mom´s family genealogical tree starts with a freed african slave that got married to a german man.

Found an old family pic. I´m the boy.

Rio Branco, Acre? That´s a really unusual destination for a foreigner. Acre is the most remote state of Brazil. Not much to do there and not very safe, be careful.

I agree, Ancelotti and Napoli are not made for each other. Hot take, but I´m not sure if Carlo will finish the season employed. And Diego Laxalt will be a Milan player. Another creative and smart deal for Milan.

Milan is in a very tough spot. They were almost thrown out the Europa League for breaking the FFP, so they can´t spend. But at the same time, they need to sign players to get back to the Champions League and increase revenues. Unlike Li Yonghong, Elliott Fund is loaded but they aware they can´t use their finacial might in the near-future. It´s an unfortunate situation for Milan, their only hope is if both Napoli falls down under Ancelotti (which I believe it´s very probable) and Roma take a step back.

Milan´s signed Samu Castillejo from Villareal in a deal involving Carlos Bacca. 3 million euros loan + Bacca + 15 million euros obligatory buy clause next season. (This is Milan circumventing FFP). Seems to me a good deal to Milan. Getting rid of Bacca´s high salary and getting a player they need, a winger. Thoughts @SirBalon ?

Unlucky break for Gomes. Obviously, injuries are never welcomed but this one in special is tough. I feel like he has to leave Barça in order to rebuild his career and now it´ll take more 6 months.

Watched the game. It was worth staying up. Some impressions: - Arthur looked comfortable and had a very good debut. The same for Lenglet; - Semedo and Rafinha were very impressive. In my opinion, Barcelona should keep Rafinha. He looks much more confident, the Inter loan did him a lot of good; - Marlon was solid. Everton should take a look, a package for Mina, Digne and Marlon makes sense for them; _ Riqui Puig, he has a future. Kid looks really good; - Malcom played with the Barcelona B in the 2nd half, but he showed some flashes, I liked what I´ve seen; - The guy who´s impressed from Barça B was Ballou. Good player. I also liked Cucurella.

Only 1h30min from Arthur´s debut with Barça. It´s happening, @SirBalon! Excited for my boy. Hopefully he impresses Barça fans tonight and I´m also hoping for a good debut by Malcom as well.

@Teso dos Bichos has a point.

The most perfect match I´ve ever seen a football team play was Barcelona in the 2010/11 Champions League final against United.

Rodrygo is 17.

10 years ago, Pep Guardiola took over as Barcelona coach. It changed football. @SirBalon @The Rebel CRS this is amazing to watch:

Pedro can´t be stopped right now. The 21-year old striker score 2 more goals today and is the top scorer of Campeonato Brasileiro with 9 goals. He´s been promissing but it took a while for him to adapt to professional football, but in 2018 he definitely hit a stride. 1st goal 2nd goal

I think he is too good for brazilian football. Best Cruzeiro player. A really talented attacking midfielder and he also score his goals. I don´t think Cruzeiro will be able to keep him, I believe Arrascaeta is leaving in this transfer window to an european club. Monaco was said to be interested.
